1) There are two beasts in revelation 13. The second one was not mentioned in this series (the one that has horns like a lamb and speaks like a dragon)

2) Even if for the generation of John the beast was Rome and the Harlot Jerusalem, who was judged by God with the destruction of Jerusalem at 70 AD, there is a bigger picture implied: the judgment of the harlot stands as a model for judgement of every apostate church... like the papacy, who IS the beast (and WAS for 1260 years)

To my Christian brothers and sisters if you have taken the time to try and understand this teaching I would simply say let the holy spirit with in you speak to your heart. Which would make sense after they killed the prophets there. Remember how they called for Christ to be crucified while demanding Barabbas the murderer to be released.

Gee, I wonder, isn't a lamb a beast, could this verse be a reference to Jesus's resurrection from the dead?

Could the Image of the beast the same thing as the church, which was brought to life at pentecost?

Did the angel that talked to John in Rev say that he was going to show him things that were and will be?

Interesting suggestion but I reject Jesus being the second beast (Rev 13:11). Jesus is the true Lamb of God. However it is possible false messiahs will try to be like him, in fact he warned us of the same.

I see something. Christians were originally a part-Jewish sect sprung from anti-Roman religious terrorism. The extremists (Zealots) caused the Uprising without mainstream Jewish support that destroyed the Temple and devastated Judea and Galilee, much as Muslims could blame Jihadists for devastating reprisals against all Muslims. The 1st part of his lecture I agreed with (about Nero), but the rest seemed like a giant stretch. His interpretation is too complicated, imaginative, and seemed dismissive of end days.

The whore of Babylon fits better with the RCC. The RCC's history lines up perfectly and sequentionally with the 7 trumpets in Revelation as well.

This guy is imaginative, but I'd rather look to the going's on in the world compared to scripture, than some guys imagination for interpreting Revelation.

Romans 11:23,24

"And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?"

Jews in the flesh can only be grafted in when they come to Christ. Otherwise they are apostate.

I saw all the videos. They are great. I hope you didn't think I was disagreeing with Dr. Gentry. I'm not sure if your reply was implying that. I was simply replying to ghmministry and stating that any Jew who is not Christian is not of True Israel. Any Jewish person, like any gentile, can be grafted into the body of Christ which is the New Jerusalem. If they remain in unbelief they are not "Children of the promise". But if they turn to Christ it is a joyous occasion as Paul attested.
