to anybody with the lt1... go out and buy the msd... it will solve all the opti problems i assure you of this. btw my z28 does, has, will pull on bolt-on ls1s... and mine is a bolt-on lt1... of course mine weighs 2900 with me in it... oh ;)
@JPARKERZ28 thats actually what I did (its my car in the video) it has worked great since then, it did go out on my earlier this year, but MSD rebuilt it for me for free even though it was out of warranty
my fords were worst than that ive had about five within 1991-2009 i don't care if ford didn't go bankrupt there cars are still crap, but i keep running back ive bought a new tuarus and its already having probs shit my 92 pontiac grand prix gtp out lasted all of my fords.
Ohh.. Pontiac? Still made by GM, a.k.a. Government Motors... lol And I do hope to god my throttle does not stick... but if it does I have enough common sense to put it in "N" and press step on the brake. lol
@aldoe9 I have a 1968 Mustang and a 2010 Camry SE.. Its called a daily driver and a weekend car. And why is Toyota junk? They didnt need any bail out money, hell neither did Ford. And Toyota had a few issues but as I recall so has every other car maker at one time or another..
Congradulations! You just joined the Opticrap crew. Lol! A good way to tell if its the opti is to tap on it while you try to crank engine or while engine is running. Hit it on the very top near harness but DONT hit harness cause it cost 70$! Its kind of a tight spot. Get something long and skinny. Good Luck.
any service engine soon lights? my lt1 t/a is saying that something is wrong with the egr valve and the MAFS but i think its just sensors. i have never heard a car do that b4 but the vid quality isnt so good so i cant hear it very well. try to make a better quality one then maybe ull have better luck.
notice the fuel on the driverside puddling on the ground. thats the side of the car the fuel rails run on. theyre only plastic. maybe you put a jack under the pinch weld and ended up lifting the car and pinchin a fuel line with the jack
