One of my absolute favorite Disney shorts (though I have maaany!) It feels humorously bizarre to have anthropomorphic dogs and other animals owning "regular" quadrupedal dogs as pets (but then, that happens in other cartoons such as Arthur), and the reality of how dog shows work doesn't much come into play here (only a few films such as "Best in Show" and "The Ugly Dachshund" have kinda captured that at all), but it's adorable, hilarious, creative, detailed, beautiful...just how it should be.
@clampfan101 Yeah, his original appearances make it seem as though they based him somewhat on a Bloodhound, though a lot less droopy...he's a true straight-up all-American mutt. I'm sure he's mixed up with some other things too.
AWWWWWW!!!
