  • Are you using Ableton or anyother softwares? if its something other, please tell me.

  • @MerciForY0u

"Since I don't use ableton, I sampled all the songs with Wavelab and edited them with Wavelab and FL Studio.

The melody is made with the Vanguard VST in FL Studio, then chopped up and loaded into my MPC.

The whole track is sequenced on the MPC."

  • I was looking at the MPC and listening to the music till I read some of the comments. Wierd how some people comment on the dick, that wasnt really the thing I wanted to look at lol.

  • What instrument class is that, like what do you call those? =)

  • @Snallis

It's called a sampler. You load in your samples, and make a track. :)

Or you make a track, cut it up in diffrent samples and play it live on your sampler. :)

  • @nielstriple Okay, thanks. I know how it works, but I just didnt know what sort of intrument it was. Thanks tho

  • @nielstriple Sounds really fun :)

  • heeey

misschien heel stomme vraag maar sluit je de mpc500 aan op je versterker of via je pc??

ben van plan eentje aan te schaffen maar als ie dat via de pc moet doen zal de geluidskaart het moeilijk hebben

    gr mike

  • yeah Man!

  • Verry nice man did you created the samples to make the music:?

  • Around the middle, from about 2:20 through 3:45, when he starts playing with the vocal track and snare track is when it really shows off that he's doing something unique. The sample looping is also good. I'd like to see it mixed up a little more around the beginning and end, and some of the samples deconstructed further. Good job.

  • after 3:45.... wrong !!

  • better than original

  • @robija1982 you are idiot.

  • They look really fun to use. Would love to get one n link it up with my decks for some live sampling madness.

  • @Zay0n

    :')

  • @Zaytr0ll

oh wow, you like prodigy, well, then I'm completely wrong and you can say whatever the F. you want.

That's what you're trying to say, right?

  • @Zay0n

Upset? No. Just bored with the lame-ass metal lovers who think their music rules the world. There's more to music than growling and grunting. Try broathen your horizon once in a while, and don't just come to troll. Prick.

  • @Zay0n

    Whatever, just go away :)

  • @Zay0n

No seriously. You don't see me bitching about that non-musical growling you call Metal, do you?

    Just go away. :)

  • @Zay0n

    Go away :)

  • lol u here a song, he isnt doing anything

  • @jabbjaw

    For the love of god...

  • amazing...

  • Nice sweatpants.

  • What sounds in Vanguard did you use?...If you don't mind me asking.

  • Nice work. I know some people don't understand how an mpc works, or what kind of time and effort was involved in that. Just resampling the original samples alone must have taken forever.. thanks to Jim Pavloff for the cliff notes. Next time stand at a higher table so we don't have to see your crotch while you are dancing around.

  • good work, but you seriously look like you have a V@gina

  • where is the 'mpc' playing? You just firing of long samples?

  • @Intosia

    Ehr... I press play @ 0:10

That's when the MPC starts to play the pre-programmed stuff...

You don't really know how a MPC works, do you?

  • @nielstriple I know how a mpc works, and just playing samples of 30 seconds, i dont consider that real MPC work.

I can play it to on my phone, i just play...

  • @nielstriple

he means that you don't "play" the mpc trigger pads you just make a playback of the loops which is not very impressive ;-)

  • @ChrisVanOz79

They are not loops. I've programmed every little sample in the MPC to play in a pattern. I'm doning some things live, otherwise you'd just have a video of a MPC with me doing absolutely nothing.

  • look @ eU5Dn-WaElI

  • @Bac8ardi

Wow, I'm surprised you even found out about that, even though I actually posted the link to that vid in the discription, and thanking Jim Pavloff just 6 sentences later.

  • @nielstriple ok party on!! LOL

  • @Bac8ardi

    ;)

  • next video is in the making.. this time I'm not using Jahshaka, and I'm planning to use a HD recorder :)

It'll be an acid track! :)

  • CA-CA-CAMELTOE!!!

  • how long did it take you to programme everything??

  • @TheRattigans

    A couple of hours! :)

  • Making music is the best drug there is...Keep up the good work bro...do what you love.

  • awesome vid :)

  • Why do I constantly look at his junk!?

    Make me stop!

  • @dariancypher Is he wearing a cup? O.o

  • @DrkxNinja

Ehr, no... that would be my cock...

  • @elvyato2

The video isn't in sync with the audio, because Jahshaka video editing software is sort of buggy, but I had to use it because

    1: it's free

2: Win.MovieMaker sucks and keeps crashing on me when rendering

3: the audio is recorded with Wavelab and the video with an Olympus camera, I had to join them somehow...

  • Great job man, ♥ it!!! Nice view too ;) !

  • Thnx...

just for the record, I burned those pants after I finished making this movie... ;)

  • @nielstriple Why?(=

  • camel toe

  • lol

  • @FeedMoi camel audio vst

  • gj mate

  • @3dmundo

    thnx :)

  • Oh nice! So you just hook it up to different preset channels, and hit the right button when ever you need it? Never used one of those...

  • It's mostly programmed, so all I had to do in this recording is make sure the right patterns get played.

As for the effects and the buttons, don't need to push that many buttons because it's mostly pre-programmed patterns. The effects I used are minimal because I already added some effects (distortion / reverb / etc) when I edited the samples in Wavelab & FL Studio.

  • It isn't.

  • Its called Mpc pad control dude. Not fake

  • @detorek3

    English

  • @mephisto121 & Camileczekk

Dudes, can we keep it in English please?

  • damn, kerel, fuckin goe gedaan ^^

    i'm inspired by this ...

got to get myself an mpc500 ^^

  • @dmasterk thnx! MPC is gewoon een lekker ding om mee te raggen :)

  • @MislawBryan that's not my underwear ;)

  • you have a nice crotch. and I like your MPC, please cover Invaders Must Die!!!!!

  • Thank you.

I REEEAAAALLLYYY need to put my camera somewhere else next time...

  • I'm really looking forward to hear your version of Voodoo People and please, cover INVADERS MUST DIE, you're pretty talented and I'd like to see how your interpretation of it, with your MPC!!!!!

  • I don't have time to do that right now, but I will do it in the nearby future :)

I'm working on several tracks of my own atm (hardcore, trance and club), so I'm kinda busy ;)

  • way to show your crotch to the internet :P

but seriously, great work. thumbs up

  • Thanx and thanx... I guess :p

  • @Simikins hahahaha that's what i was going to say, too

  • ehm, I think I was there when I did this track, and I assure you I did it like spemer just said...

But hey, if you don't believe me, fine :)

  • @69ZEMANEL i'm assuming you don't understand what's happening...he has programmed each sample into the mpc and is triggering them live in order to recreate prodigy's song. pretty f'in sick if you ask me.

  • Really cool ! Why didn't you use Windows Movie Maker ? Very simple, free and not buggy (well assuming you're under windows)

  • Because it kept on crashing when I wanted to export the clip...

    But thnx ;)

  • Niels &^O^ cool!!

  • thnx! :D

  • What's the learning curve with the MPC500? My friend has one for sale and I could use something new around the studio to play with...

  • If you know your basic hardware programming, you could learn it within an hour :)

There are plenty howto's on the internet!

  • Thnx all!

I'm working on the 'voodoo people' melody as we speak, so maybe I'll just do thatone live aswell ;)

  • @nielstriple Please do a cover on Invaders Must Die! I'd love to hear that one!

  • I'm working on my own tracks atm, maybe in the future ;)

  • All things being equal, that's a pretty good version!
