not to be mean but the scan totally killed the drawing... it looks very bad at 3:20 :/ you should get a better scanner

That's an odd comment, considering the scanner I have is one of the better ones on the market. I think Youtube's compression of the video is what kills the clarity of the drawing.

Art is anything and everything.

If you were an artist you would know that it doesnt matter how you hold a pencil as long as you create something.

its also something your born with becuase this all came to me natuaraly art classes never seem to help me get better. anyways i see alot of people who cant draw dont have a good imagination

Because it DOES make a difference. You can try it out yourself by holding the pencil in different ways while and trying to draw predefined strokes; some are limiting, some are less accurate.

dont get mad at the dude hes probly has an art teacher that showed him the "proper" way to hold a pencil, my art teach in college has hammered that in to us so much. but it actually helps ... to a point the guy draws pretty small not on 24 by 18 paper were a different way of holding the pencil comes in hand but on 8 by 11 paper it really dosent matter what way you hold the pen
