Nice One (:! i'm gettin a gas gas 125 trials on saturday . wippiieee !! lol! but im wonderin out do u do this ? and is there a clutch? or is it semi auotomatic? !
@nasdreas u wedge the frount wheel below about 5 inches from the top of the rock and slip the clutch so the forks compress then lean right back and bend your legs. then with not many revs for a rock that size about 1/8th to 1/4 throttle release the clutch and at the same time straighten your legs and throw your body forward through the bars and if you get it right your back wheel will land were your frount wheel was
it takes loads of practice but you will know when you get it right
very sound advice! this was the only time I hadnt worn a helmet, I didnt even realise until I looked back at the video. Id finished riding and gone back to the van to wait for some friends, they didnt turn up for ages so I jumped back on the bike to go and find them, before I knew it I was riding again and without a lid! ive had plenty of crashes where ive hit my head or the bike has hit my head so I know the importance of it.
Just giving you a hard time... kudos for looking to perfect your technique. I just got back from practicing my jap zaps on a 300 XC. I mutilated my skid plate! Need a real trials bike. Keep it up!
Gas Gas rule i have had about 20 hours experience on mine. ive never had a trials before but ill definately go with trials again there awesome how long have you been riding trials? your awesome
Been riding about 1 1/2 years now, about a year ago when I filmed this video. GasGas are great aslong as you look after them, the people at GasGas UK are really helpful too which is a bonus!
Wheelie earlier and hit the rock when the front wheel is coming down. As the front end loads up, shift weight back, load up rear, apply throttle and the back will lift much higher.
thanks for the advice but im trying to do it from standing start like on the video, i can do them rolling no problem. Ive been doing them from standing now for a while now and ive got it pretty dialed =]
today was the first ever time i road a trals bike and it was the best day ever!!!!!!! :)

Just hold the clutch and give much gas and then let the clutch go?

Criticism? Nice technique, but get a helmet pal. Don't be stupid. Trials riders are supposed to be more responsible :)
