I am not saying what John McCain did was right by any means, but it really is no one's business! My ex-husband and I were both in the military. When we were first married we were very young & had different values and belief systems. We had a similar outcome. We are no longer married, but friends. All corrupt politicians, media, police and military units are legitimate targets. However violence is not the answer. Leave it to the professionals. I am not saying what John McCain did was right by any means, but it really is no one's business! My ex-husband and I were both in the military. When we were first married we were very young & had different values and belief systems. We had a similar outcome. We are no longer married, but friends. What matters, is that they too are still respectful and supportive of one another. No one elses opinion matters! He is remarried and that is a great, lasting marriage! He should be given credit for that

What you seem to be missing is that, if hadn't divorced his first wife, and married Cindy, it's more than likely that he wouldn't even be in politics. So being that is a direct link to the begining of his political carrer, it is in fact, the business of the American public. McCain is clearly an opportunists, an opportunists make bad politicians, and is excessively bad for this country. The past eight years of Bush/Chenney, and McCain's campaign strategies, are a glaring proof of that.

McCain felt justified cheating on his wife for 5 years as she held on to hope he would outgrow that phase, but what he did was eventually leave her for one of the bimbos.
Keating Five lined his pockets well enough that he shouldn't need to scam us anymore, but I doubt he'll
stop this late in the game.
Not convicting McCain sent a message to corporate criminals that America is not concerned.
Electing McCain President should not even be an option.

Let's see, he sat on the board of the Annenberg education fund -- you know, the one you ingnorant McCain supports think was a radical terrorist cell? I happen to be personally aware of his activities monitoring various school reform plans, including the Academy of Urban School Leadership. He's had to confront the teachers' union over such reforms. He's been a hard worker in the state and is not afraid to confront traditional dem supporters. You couldn't be more wrong about him.

Actually you're quite right, I don't think many people care about this. The interesting thing is that it once again points out the ridiculous hypocrisy of the republican "values" based campaign. I'm sure it would not be irrelevant to Fox, for example, if Obama had had an affair. You've gotta love the infallibility of the republican paradigm - if I did it, it was forgivable human mistake, if he did it, it was treason. I'm surprised any of you real conservatives buy McCain's rhetoric.
