i hate how the barriers, walls, gravel traps and the real hold your breath aspect of eau rouge has now gone. I'm all for safety but look at the amount of runoff here, even up at la source and all around Spa this year, motor racing circuits are fast moving toward tesco car park territory.
USed to be good when the cars needed some skill to take it flat out - the cars are now too easy to drive - any monkey can go thru flat out now - F1 died in the 90's
@WillWorkForCider You're in luck bozo - here i am driving a 1989 F1 car (MUCH harder than a 2009 F1 car!) - 15 laps without even a spin much less "wrecking it" (only 8 seconds of the time of their F1 driver Yannick Dalmas' lap record time.)
Wow what a nosie, and from the V8 as well. It just shows - we may complain that F1 cars are getting slower and dont sound as good, but they are still insanely fast, and still sound insane.
Yeah this does sound great. I uploaded the whole of the 1992 German GP - a track where they called really nail the throttle at nearly 220mph!! Just listen to Patresses Williams FW14B at 5mins 20 seconds. lol you can see his whole body move back and forward with each gear change !!! here is the link /watch?v=vPiO2rVFE_Y
@jraybay I am from Seattle Washington in the USA. Yeah, poutine is not very healthy but oh so good. It's my favorite Quebec food. Ill see you in Canada in 2011 my friend. Hit me up, I can show you around the city or just get a drink or two and talk F1. Later man, take care.
Wow excellent. an American from distance to gilles villenueve you are dedication fan :P . I trying to go in 2010 but for me finances not good to go and the grand prix coms fast you know. There is still chance for me to go 2010. 2011 for sure. Also in canada you can bring your own food and drink too that save money and that help people like me lol. when you go share the experience with me. Enjoy!
@jraybay Ohhhh yes. I have gone before. Many times. I have never worn earplugs and have severely damaged my hearing but it was all worth it. Those cars are so beautiful at full trot. Just deafening. Yeah the Giles Villenueve track is great, your own food, drink, and smoke. Whatever you want really. I LOVE Canada and Canadians! You guys know how to live right! I know what you mean about it being pricy though, I will FOR SURE bring some videos back and share them with you. Later man.
Well yes it is. You see the Eau Rouge is the 1st corner of this combination. Its the fast left uphill corner and then follow by the Radillion the Uphill RIGHT corner. The eau rouge has got its name by the river L'Eau Rouge Wich means Red Water. And ive been in Spa several times and it clearly flows under the first left corner.
I am youtube > MP3ing this, and putting it as my text message tone.

@mallamoozoo agreed.

@mallamoozoo Nicky Lauda said the same and to prove he was right he had a go on a Jaguar in 2002. He spun off two times in three laps...
SiulF1 9 months ago
@SiulF1 that proves my point - he only spun 2 times - if he'd been driving a 1988 car he'd have spun 6 times.
mallamoozoo 9 months ago
@mallamoozoo I would actully love to see you in a F1 car, you couldnt do 1 lap with out wrecking it , retard
