There is probably a simple answer: How the heck does the pilot know where the tail wheel is in relation to the landing pad?

@cockercane cuz he's listening to the crewchief who's hanging out the window looking back at the tail wheel. LoL which is my job as a 15T (blackhawk mechanic/crewchief) what he's doing is called a pinnacle landing.

Meh, we haven't had problems with it yet. So I'm not complaining. Besides the Mi-24 is Attack/Transport - This is just Transport. Try not to compare two different classes.

Where the fuck did you get your info? the UH-1 is still in service, so why would the blackhawk be the replacement? The hind made the US freak out and create the blackhawk...

The UH-1 is no longer in service with the USArmy. It stopped flying active duty over a decade ago, and stopped flying guard duty in 09. The UH-60 was its direct replacement, and born out of a need for greater size, speed, safety and lifting ability. The UH-72 has replaced many guard duties. So yes, it is the DIRECT REPLACEMENT.

The Mi-24 is primarily a gunship, and carries 8 troops as an afterthought. So you're wrong, fucknut.

your wrong buddy sorry to tell you...the typical uh-60 doesn't carry any weapons but the door gunner some attack helicopter that would make. Both are good choppers just different missions for both
