I love how in the 90s hip hop was so dope that it kind tranford to the rnb singers in groups witch makeing all these grate singer singing over more so rap beats witch WORKS in we need to start doing it more.
This whole CD was awesome. I liked 702, because like my other favorite trio of the time, Before Dark, they weren't too grown and as a teen back in the 90's. I could definitely relate to their songs. They were still young without being cheesy. That's why my cousin and I miss the 90's. Music was great back then. Plus the teens back there were allowed to grow gracefully without being too sexy.
I still listen to this song like it's new lol! Missy actually wrote it and did the vocal arrangements and it was produced by some guy named Terry T-Rock Williams. My favorite part of the song is when Missy comes in singing "oh oh no, you is fine, you is cute, oh oh oh oh no." I love her voice.
I used to listen to this entire album from start to finish on the regular. And used to sing and dance around the front room with a flashlight. Had to be in the 1st or 2nd grade. Still miss them <3.
@TheTallMan35 late replying, but you are absolutely right, don't know how the hell I missed the sample, but missy freaked the hell out of this beat with the string section she used
Wow! Never heard this song !!!! Crazy Love it..... Nice One 702....

@oryen22 yea the beats are similar but on this song you can hear the sample and the bass more than "machine gun funk"
