If you like the old Within Temptation like this, then also check out the album "Mandylion" by The Gathering. It is widely regarded as the first "Gothic Metal album. Songs like Eleánor and Leaves are real classics.

Within Temptation in Enter is the authentic WT like it or not, Mother Earth was authentic as well, The hearth of Everything, but the latest album is not intended to be real Withing temptation. They have already said directly that their intention was to be more famous.

You can like your new album or not, but one thing is true, it IS pop, even WT has said it directly.

btw, saying they are not hardcore because there are no 'death shouts' anymore demonstrate a) Your ignorance about Withing Temptation, there are no such shouts in Mother Earth, actually is is a very peaceful album and still true and authentic WT, b) Your ignorance about music in general, the fact tehy use violins or choirs means nothing either to the quality or the genre of any music. Sarah Brightman sings Opera-like, yet she is pop, Bond is a string quartet, yet it is pop, see?
