The secret to good petunias? As soon as you pot the flats, cut off all of the blooming flowers right away with scissors. They come back in much thicker--with many more blooms in just a few days.
Hi there -- I am a pole dancer and a member of PoleJunkies, and found this vid through your You Tube channel. You say to "chop" off the flowers...at what point on the plant? Maybe next year you could do a flower tutorial. I never have any luck with petunias.
I'll have to ask Laurie--she's the gardener. I made this video shortly after I got the FLIP camera and was just sort of testing out how to make and upload a video. I should probably video the moonflowers now--they are enormous--taller than me--and have taken over the sidewalk. Unfortunately, they don't really open fully until between midnight and 2AM and the video camera does not pick up the yellow light from the street lamps very well.
