@BlondieCartoons Things with movies ya gotta understand, luv, is they don't always go the way of the book. While the movie is one story, the book is another. I loved the book, and I felt the movie could've been a bit more (especially since they made it Hades as the evil doer and not Chronos because yes, CHRONOS is the main driver if you remember correctly--he wants to come back from the Pit? Not to mention they forgot all the other "places" in the Underworld) however as a stand alone its ok.

@Violetgrl3 No, I KNOW that! I went to the movie because it was a MOVIE BASED on the book that was awesome. Also you misunderstood what I said about Chronos. Chronos in the book didn't go with the kids. Chronos is the BAD GUY. As in evil. He's Zeus' father chopped into itty bits and tossed into a Pit in Tartarus. He wants REVENGE. Percy and the others are part of a PROPHECY that either fortells Chronos' revenge and the fall of the gods or not. Chronos had Luke steal the bolt; read the series.

What I was disappointed in, concerning the movie, was the horrible dialogue for the first oh say quarter to third? I absolutely adored the movie otherwise. I was a tad disappointed that they ignore several plot points, like Ares and Chronos, but I figured that they would've ignored book plot points anyway--the way they made the movie was going to be different. I was hoping they'd make it into a series, but I can see they most likely won't. Especially if you think about how long a series it is...
