  • They might be Megalechis picta. This (rare) species has a dark vertical band in the caudal fin.

  • Very good video. How do you inspire them to start spawning? I have a pair of Megalechis but they haven't spawned for 4 years.

  • i fed them lots of boodworm.then done a major water change twice a week lowering the temp by about 4degrees and that seem to do the trick..
