@MammysMeals It turned out great tho mammy! I ate it alllll by myself lol. Felt like I didn't cook it and I knew it wouldve turned out better if I didnt rush the cooking. Just need one step missing and that is the Ricotta on when n were it goes on and Ill be set! I don't cook at all, but I really did enjoy doing so and thank you!=]
@x2ruff4u I'm glad that it came out OK, despite your improvising. The ricotta goes in the second layer (check out 4:30 in the video). Cheddar...lol...yuk. Well, if it worked for you then that's fine, but wouldn't be my first choice (perhaps mixed with the ricotta would be ok). The top will always be a bit wavy, but won't affect the taste. :) I am happy that you enjoyed yourself doing it!
I bought everything! I'm doing it right now. What puzzles me still is when you said "ill put my Ricotta cheese on the side" I'm not sure at what point you used it again. So I didn't have it either way. I'm just going to put it on top in the next 30 minutes. I'm impatient so I have it at 350 degrees. I hope it turns out ok...will post back n thank you for the vid! I don't cook. Im a guy =p
@MammysMeals I used white cheddar as a different cheese since I didn't know when to use Ricotta. So when I said in the next 30 minutes in my sentence I just put on the last 2 layers. I did an extra layer of it. Same method, pasta>sauce>white cheddar>final layer>sauce white cheddar/mozzarella. I did 350 to start with and let it cook for 50 minutes. Realized I needed 15 minutes more. So 1 hour/5 minutes cooked it, but was a lil hilly wavy on top. I think because I cooked it to fast right?
This is the BEST LASAGNA we've EVER HAD!! and it makes so much that you can freeze plenty of it. The taste is scrumptious! Also just watched the Po' Man's Stir-Fry and my mouth is watering. I'm going now to buy the ingredients. A great idea for the winter in the mountains when you can't get to the store. LOVE YOU MAMMY! Can you make a video showing how to make the stawberries in chocolate? THANX!! Krissy
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
