Great stuff. Kind of reminds me of the old Steve Martin riffs when he would bring out his banjo to accompany his comedy. Wonderful sense of humor John. Delivered well.
Thanks again, John! I can't take credit for all the routines. I borrowed some of it from old comedy bits I recorded years ago. That was a big night for me since I never got up in front of such a big audience. I never got so scared before, and I never got such a rush of exileration after it before either.
Hi John. You sure looked pretty calm, cool and collected. I know what you mean though, I was in a number of musical productions at a theatre that held around 200 people, and I was so nervous before it started sometimes, but the rush was so worth it.
There was one part at 3:45 where my mind blanked! I totally forgot my next part, and was just strumming the guitar. The terror rose up inside me and the panic was just about to petrify me when I remembered the part. When I watched it later, I realized it was only five seconds long, but on stage it was an eternity!
Ha Ha. In a Disney show I forgot the first word of a song I was supposed to sing that was from the Lion Kind ( I was Scar) and I just paced back and forth like a lion until it "finally" came to me. Felt like an eternity!!!! After that night I wrote the first word on my arm every night for 8 nights !! lol no guff!!
Thanks Molly! I appreciate that. This was the only comedy thing I did that I have on video. I had to hound the guy in charge for a year to get the clip of this. I would really miss KQ if I ever left Minnesota. Love the morning show.
Thanks so much, Classican! I practiced it at home until I could do it in my sleep. During one part, my mind went blank, but a couple seconds later, it came to me. Scary moment!
Thanks Danny, yea, that was an actual Dylan tune. One of my favorites too.
My computer didn't accept the code ya gave me. Thanks anyway though. I finally found mine....on a label stuck to the bottom of the laptop! It was under my nose the whole time!
pretty funny, just getting on stage would be tough i think
you could enter this into one of those online comedy contests, like yobi laugh

Thanks Teruko! I think the quality is better on the one I sent you, but this one has the guitar dubbed in so it would be a bit louder.
They didn't have a guitar mic for me on stage.
