  • @AALIYAHFOREVER22YOUN of my word not world lol :D

  • The scariest part about this film is how they got Ledger to play the role. They locked him in a room for three days without anything surrounding him besides the walls. When he came out, he was crazed to the point of playing the role of the Joker.

  • @Samisawesomeguy I read that Ledger himself directed this scene....

  • I remember watching this scene in theaters and the whole theater fell very quiet very fast, sent chills down my spine.

  • @lothor1234 Same here. I think everyone was especially scared out of their minds when the Joker said, "LOOK AT ME!!!"

  • @1:04 EPIC JOKER LAUGH

  • Comment removed

  • if he only played ghost rider that would be my best halloween gift

  • he shoots him at end when he laughs

  • @TylerKG123 no, joker prefers not to shoot as he said in dark knight that knives show the true side of people on they're last few seconds alive.

  • Is it bad that I've done something similar? Minus the actual killing part of course...

  • This scene pretty much sums up the Joker's insane behavior

  • Wow Saw 8 looks great

  • Why are there bodies with no skin hanging up in the background?

  • @chailizard i think it's a butcher shop

  • :( y ohhhhh y did nature hav 2 tak away the best joker ever :( plzzz god gives us heath ledger bak

  • That laugh is amazing to duplicate in an elevator.

  • Pissed my pants laughing at this scene

  • I live for this moment in the movie...hahahaa...

  • @JKHarleyQuinn For real? That's freaky.

  • what's really scary is Christopher Nolan just left the two of them alone and told Heath Ledger to do what he wanted 0.o

  • @JKHarleyQuinn Actually, Nolan was present for this one. It was the other one, with the news guy, that he let Ledger off the leash

  • @JKHarleyQuinn speaking from an actors point of view thats the best thing a director could say to me :D

  • joker: tell them your name.

    guy: ryan douglus

joker: are you the real batman? >.>

    guy:no

joker: no no! then WHY do you dress up like him!?

guy: he's a symbal we dont have to be afraid of scum like you.

joker: yea you do ryan? you REALLY do? so you think batman made gotham a better place? look at me? LOOK AT ME! see this is how crazy batman made gotham. you want order in gotham? batman must take off his mask. oh and everyday he doesnt poeple will die. iam a man of my worda.

  • 0:20 priceless

  • @unnamedushan Woohoohoohoo!

  • rofl joker is funny.

  • This scene gave me a nightmare the first time I saw it. Now, 3yrs later, I just see it as great acting

  • I'm a man of my word.

  • @s3anz2

    "I'm a man of my wooorrrr-d."

  • @Charmolution im a man of my wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

  • I was in the IMAX on opening day and when this scene came on, just complete silence from everyone. I looked around and some people genuinely looks terrified.

  • trolololololololololol

  • i was in the theater 2 c this and ppl flepped out , on this

  • me: :D

    joker: LOOK AT ME!!!

    me: O_O

  • he killed him with a chainsaw!

  • 240p... We meet again!

  • i like how the top two comments haven't changed in two years. mainly because, they're just so true.

  • Another fine example of how the Joker was able to motivate action. Just like the hospital threat: "If Coleman Reese isn't dead in 24h I'll blow up a hospital". Simple and easy to remember! :)

  • I love this scene because I hate fat fucks who think they can get away with looking like a superhero. Let this be your lesson, you fucking bloated sacks of shit. Learn how to work out and eat a salad.

  • joker's best scene in the movie, and he's barely in the shot. it's the scene that really grabs you

  • @corosequis Heath actually shot this scene himself, as the entire idea of it was his alone.

  • OMG They named him Brian Douglas! That was the name of the pizza guy who died in real life, after the collar bomb went off on him!

  • i love the way he says, "Are you the real batman?"

  • Why did heath Ledger have to fucking die?? That pissed me off when he died

  • dam the way he said look at me the second time was scary lol

  • yeah it was the same when i saw this in the theaters..after the LOOK AT ME! people got real quiet and seemed disturbed..was the moment when everyone really locked in. Was an oh shit, this is a scary MFer!

  • Fyi..heath shot this video of him and the fake batman himself..he directed the scene with the camcorder

  • "LOOK AT ME!!" - man that freaked me out in the theater when this first came out

  • @anomaly1978 Yeah that sent little chills through me when I heard that.

  • Bruce Lee could beat Chuck Norris's ass...oh wait that already happened.

  • @TheHaxman999 ...What purpose could it possibly serve to post that comment?

  • In the theater after this moment i heard the distinct noise of 200 hundred people shitting their pants at the same time.

  • the old joker was philosophically scary. this guy is phiosopically scary, deformed scary, funny scary, and shit your pants and cut your mouth open scary.

  • i shat myself

  • LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!

  • Christopher Nolan allowed Heath to direct the Joker video tapes, so this entire scene was made up by Ledger himself.

Wow. We lost a future horror movie maker on the day of Ledger's death.

  • the best acting i have ever saw... R.I.P Heath

  • When Heath Ledger took this role, he annihilated it. His acting was just pure genius.

  • if the joker ever said "LOOK AT ME" in that tone of voice to me i would cry haha

  • the best fucking scene

  • Sweet, merciful Jesus H. Fuck...

  • Jack Nicholson can't even come close to this character.

  • bas rutten would be scared shitless just by the sound of Demon-Joker's laughter.

  • 0:20 is really funny lmfao

  • @akkifans

That actually scared the crap out of me.

  • Best joker scene from funny to serious in a split second, he will be missed

  • LOOK AT ME!!!!!!

    Ledger couldve played scarecrow

  • LOOK. AT. ME.

  • Ledger purposefully shows in this scene that the high pitched maniacal laugh is just a voice The Joker puts on for his character when he uses his actual mad voice to say LOOK AT ME! Genius. He probably was planning to show us that darker inside eventually...I'd love to see the real Joker and his back story...

  • I want joker to start vloging right now

  • 0:39 - one of the scariest moments in modern cinema?

  • Is there a villain out there that is not so overtly or maniacally evil? In the interest of finding a formidable arch villain; (another billionaire who leads a double life?) Maybe it’s time for a pairing of the Mad Hatter and Harley Quinn (their character would have to modified, sociopathic without making them out to be idiots)

  • if the joker tried to put that blade in front of shannon sharpe's mouth, he would ram that son of a bitch to the ground

  • LOOK AT ME

  • this is a truly jarring scene, I think it has potential to be an iconic scene in movie history. brilliant performance by ledger.

  • That LOOK AT ME was scary as hell

  • @afgmuscl3 It remember it scared the hell out of the audience in the theatre...I've never encountered anything like the reaction Ledger's performance got...Pure genius. Heath is greatly missed.

  • @afgmuscl3 i remember the first time i saw this scene that part freaked me out like nothing else ever had. its the first time you get to see how evil the joker really is.

  • Heath Ledger filmed that scene himself without direction from Chris Nolan

  • "Everyday he doesnt people will die...starting tonight. I'm a man of my worrrd". And he sounds so calm saying it

  • god the joker is so dark in this scene i think ledger did a great job with joker may he rip

  • Just one of the many excellent scenes in the masterpiece that is the Dark Knight. Keven Smith praised this as the Godfather of super hero movies.

  • after this scene u could hear a pin drop...............0o0

  • "look at me...LOOK AT ME!!!!!" hilarious

  • some people wouldn't shut up talking in the theater until the joker said "LOOK AT ME!!"they got freaked out.i like how they make the camera all wigly making it looks real

  • one of the best scenes ever

  • This joker really seem like the kind with dozens of mental disorders on him. Wow. D:

Very lovely acting. I especially love the low growl of "yeuh..." that turn into a 'comforting' shushsushsush~~.

  • one of my fav scenes

  • I remember watching this in theaters and around this scene some people were whispering then Joker said "LOOK AT ME!!!" it got quiet. No one said a word the rest of the movie

  • @TUEZ440 Yeah same thing happened here! XD Awesome!!!

  • you r

  • that tape is more horrifying then any possible horror movie you could watch, if you understand the tape. fookin creepy how Heath could ACT that awesome. makes you think what hes capable of IRL

  • LOOK AT ME!!! @_@

  • Joker's laugh in this scene is legendary...

It may send a cold shiver down your spine!

  • Been looking for this for awhile, all so I could hear that awesome laugh at the end, amazing.

  • It's a thread not a threat. Stop sucking Jack Nicholson's dick and learn to read and write you illiterate prick.

  • yed hink he would brush his teeth lol

  • joker rules

  • i love the part when he sais "im a man of my word" cuz thats when he shows you that he's not fuckn around

  • I wonder if the jokers breathe stinks?

  • i can laugh like that lol. i don't even do it on purpose and when this movie came out everyone that met me thought i was trying to bel ike him. made me kinda mad but still heath made the joker look amazing.

  • /watch?v=Cb6EhDbc-Mw !!!

  • lol, "LOOK AT ME!!!!"

  • Probably the most powerful scene in the movie. Freaked the shit out of me and the missus - every scene with the joker from this point on we found 'usettling'. I don't think anyone can deny this was a masterstroke in a portrayal of pure evil - certainly a performance that will never be forgotten.

  • man my heart was racing this whole scene this is some fuckin quality acting

  • lmao when he goes "shh shh shh" and rubs his face hahahahhaa

  • this laugh is so.. pretty, in a way

  • Really is an amazing scene.

  • LOOK AT ME!

  • I never thought Leger was much of an actor and did not see this in the theater. I thought the academy award was just a gesture after his death. Then I saw the movie. I think his portrayal of the joker was some of the best acting I have ever seen. An incredible shame he died.

  • @PRS3333 soo u think he wasnt a great actor u didnt even watch the movie b4 he got the award

  • This scene perfectly sums up how I always saw the joker starts off being amusing and then suddenly becomes fucking shit your pants scary and completely unhinged.

  • So pretty much he goes from mocking clown to Wild jackal.

So did Joker kidnap the guy or was he still trying to emulate Batman, and ran into the vile depraved maniac Joker.

  • Heath actually directed this scene of the hostage tape.

  • cool

  • I like that noise the camera makes ..lol

  • la grande mort, the big death...no better time could be asked for him to die....he left us a nice film, and that's my favorite scene, i just love that tape...n_n....are you the real batman?....LOL

  • DUDE THIS SCENE TOTALLY ROCKED... WHEN I WAS IN THE MOVIE THEATER I JUST LOVED WHEN EVERYTHING GOT QUIET AFTER HE STARTED LAUGHING :p

  • First time I saw this scene, me and my friend were just whispering how wacky Joker is being, then when he yells "LOOK AT ME!!", we're just frozen stiff in fright! Heath was such an amazing yet terrifying Joker!

  • Everytime I hear that laugh I laugh too... I know its a bad thing, and he's evil, but I just cant help it!

  • the way he yelled LOOK AT ME is fucking scary

  • Damn....that is such an evil fuckin laugh.

  • I wanna learn to laugh like that

  • yea me to.

  • @Evilconcarne11 you think luis fernando lopez can take out the joker????

  • @Evilconcarne11 heat robbery or dark knight robbery, which was better

  • Dude, I don't think that anyone can make that laugh ever again. I wish I could do it.

  • Remember how everything in the movie theater got REALLY quiet after that LAUGH :P!!!

  • Hahaha this is the perfect comment for this video, when I read this comment it made me laugh because that is exactly what it was like. I think this shows the real side of The Joker. Again, nice comment.

  • HAHAHA I know it still makes me laugh I did the test few times...always same result ....at that scene people always shut the fuck up ... cause the joker is SHIT YOUR PANTS SCARY :P!

  • Oh my gawd I want it so badly :-o

  • @truhayabusa i do to

  • @truhayabusa i actually laugh like that

  • @truhayabusa I can laugh like that...in fact I do it as my normal laugh

  • such a good Joker

    shame about his death :/

  • I agree 100% yhtomit...I don't think anyone will ever be able to mimic Heath's laugh. Jack N, was outstanding in the 1989 Baman as Joker...but I guess things will never quite be the same.

  • The sound design here is fantastic - that stretched rubber sound makes my blood curdle.

  • Sucks that Heath passed away, but at least it was an incredible role he went out on.

  • Heath was raw genius...this scene is terrifying & funny.

  • thxs for uploading this man

  • "Look at me."

    "LOOK ATE ME!"

  • I remember this, the whole theater was like "holy shit dude :o"

  • We finally got the Joker on film. He did the joker EXACTLY how I always imaged him!

  • How the hell did Heath get his voice to do that? His laugh was insane, and his LOOK AT ME was scary

    He was good

    RIP Heath:(

  • i got no realplayer but thanks a lot.i must try to downloud this thing

  • how to downloud this vidio?

  • if you got realplayer 11, its allows you to download videos from the web, hope this helps

  • heath ledger was f**king brillant as the joker, his performance was epic, best joker ever in my opinion
