I think Mike Pointon and Mike Hogh on Trombones, John Barnes on sax, Colin Bowden on snare, Chez Chesterman and I think Pat Halcox on Trumpets + Wally Fawkes with clarinet case. Not sure if Pete Neighbour isn't there on clarinet too. Pity you didn't zoom in a bit more.... R.I.P. Dear Brother Diz
@keepinguptheday i was lucky one day to meet a young black man from new orleans in bavaria, germany, asking him about the meaning of one line in this song to which i have listened since my early teens: "his head was in the market, his feet was in the street, a little ole lady came marching by looking at the market meat...". "slavery" he said. shortly afterwards "kathrina" happened. from the bottom of my heart i wish this fine young man has survived and is doing well
I had not heard of Diz Dizley's passing until just now noticing this video post. I am so sorry, so sad in fact to hear of his passing. He brought the most vivid and alive music to my ears in all my life. not exaggerating. I loved listening to him & watching him play. He has been my favorite guitarist all these years. Must also say i don't think i ever laughed as heartily or as long as I did attending the pub gigs he used to do all over the UK.first heard him 1970 Brighton. will always remember.
I can Give You one of the Names. The guy with the white instrument case playing "Penny Whistle" is Terry "Leadfingers" Silver. A long time friends of Diz.

I remember seeing Diz playing in a Coffee Bar at the back of Oxford Street, London in the 50's. Magic Memories ! Those were the days.
