I've remembered this intro for about as long as I can rememeber.

Funny this is, I can't actually remember what happened in any of the episodes.

This show has stayed in my mind this long strictly on the memorability of the theme song, it is THAT powerful.

I'll never understand why the french don't add sharky and george to their list of known cultural achievements...it was a pretty good show, but like tintin it could lag a bit. I used to like the jellyfish character, who may have been just 'Dr Jellyfish' for all I remeber but I know he was an evil non-vertabrete with some form of doctorate and a fondness for schemes.

for some reason i found it no problem at all waking up at like 6 in the morning to watch this.. a very unique cartoon, though looking back on it does anyone remember it being quite weird? it was always dark because it was set at the bottom of the sea and the low quality animation added to it... also wasnt sharky always looking for his lost girlfriend or something?

It makes me laugh all the people that say tv today is crap and "bring back my childhood cartoons". You can't have the same old animation running around, it would just look odd in the 21st century. Just think, in 10/15 years, kids today will look back on their "crap" tv with the same nostalgic view we are now.
