I went through a very short phase where I would videotape every episode of Raw. Probably lasted about 2 months or so. This was one of the episodes I taped, and my brothers and I watched this part over and over. If I recall, The Big Show was getting his ass kicked the entire match, right up until this part. This was so awesome when I was a kid.

as crazy as this sounds, Big Show was very muscular and in shape from 1999-2001, even when he became fat and VISUALLY out of shape it didn't affect his overall wrestling or athletic ability one bit, i think this is due to the fact that unlike most giants who are over 7 foot tall and walk on sticks, Big Show's legs are huge, which makes him very coordinated and has great mobility, Bodyfat % isn't everything, if that was true Great Khali would be a better more athletic wrestler than Big Show.

@NineTailJ My guess is they had to balance the "extreme" side of wrestling that makes it so exciting with the health and longevity of their performers, and they decided to cut back on some of the crazier stuff. I agree, it was fun to watch, but this was the smart business decision. People become huge fans of certain personas, and this decision would lengthen their career significantly.
