  • What would those credit card knives be used for?

  • @planejet42 Dude two words....."WALLET KNIFE", they are slim and fit in the space set aside for the credit cards, mine is always in my wallet. and it's fits so well, I have almost forgotten it and TRIED TO FLY WITH IT!!!!!

luckily, just in time I remembered and locked it up in my checked luggage.

    Seeya bro

    Dude

  • leather is for land carry concealed carry very nice collection! you have a great time this is the first vid i have watched. excellent!!!!!

  • @t328 Dude...thanks for the kind words and your views..appreciate your time.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • his voice sounds like a pirate.. arrr..

  • Do you know where I could find a sheath for a Tekna dive knife? mine split in half and cant fix it.

  • @ShockandTerror100 absolutely..go to TEKTITE Do t Co m,they have all the new manufacture parts for these knives...good luck and thanks for the comment

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel Thanks alot!!!!

  • @ShockandTerror100 no problem bro, the ONLY thing worng with these is the sheath doesnt say "tekna" on the clasp, but if you were to switch that onto the new sheath body who knows, they are made the same way on the original tooling. enjoy bro..

    Dude

  • @WiccaIsGood those are the very early ones and much MUCH harder to source and NEVER go cheap, get one though.

they tend to have a very intrinsic 'cool factor' most other production knives never seemed to rise to the level of.

    seeya

    Dude

  • So many knives! Ridonkulously awesome video.

  • @asisodinsson What's the one called at 2:00? Looks like one I might look for.

  • @asisodinsson there was two, the stainless finish and then the blackened finish but BOTH knives are known as the Tekna Micro Pen Knife T6000,the cool part is they look almost like a writing instrument in your pocket and are NOT a switchblade.

the blade doesnt move..the COVERING retracts. yeah, they are hard to source, especially the single edged varients.

good luck in your search asisodinsson, you got your work cut out for you.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @asisodinsson thanks brother..I simply do with what the good Lord has given me as a gift on loan to try to interpret my scatter brained thinking processes and make known about cool stuff. I appreciate it when people let me know I was on point and it made sense.

Stay tuned for more knife vids..

    Dude

  • Very cool collection of teknas, they are very unique knives and before JohnWayneColt45 i'd never even heard of them. GOOD VID, THUMBS UP.

  • I'm still impressed !

    Why 3 similar Spydies ?

Any idea of the kind of steel of your teknas ? Are they really stainless ?

I love the diving leather sheath, hope it won't shrink too much when it dries...;-))

  • @Ferntheboss excellent questions the 3 are VERY hard to find very small number early Spyderco's. find them? BUY THEM.

no2 stainless tekna's are HIGH CHROMIUM Stainless, they're actually pretty hard, I'd say FORGED STAINLESS,VERY rare thing to find on a production knife. the only knife guys forging stainless blades is RANDALL knives. is it reeally forged? I dont know. but carrying for OVER 20 years plus,I have yet to wear one out. hope that helps and thanks fern

    Seeya

    Dude

  • I still can't believe you have 3 diver probes and a pre-diver!!!!

    You lucky lucky Dude!!

  • @JohnWayneColt45 hey you want it bad enough I could sell you one.. I'm not a big fan of odd numbers, three isnt a daisho..it's a sonsho with a hanger on.

a Daisho was the correct amount of knives a samurai would have for his use

    Katana-Sword

    Wakizashi-Short Sword

Kiridashi-short knife or sleeve dagger ,to be used when the larger blades would "impolite" to use

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel I would definately buy one bro,Thanks!!!

It might take a few weeks to save the funds, but your on Dude!!

    Lets talk.

  • @JohnWayneColt45 not a problem...it was kinda an impulse buy anyways.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • What grit would u suggest on the Japanese water stone?

  • @NickPech well the stones actually have a SERIOUSLY different grit aspect then we use in the states..but a 6000 grit would be perfect before stropping..and it'll be scary scary sharp if executed well.

    Good Luck

    Dude

  • Awsome! How much did it cost all?

  • @butaangas aw dude..you mean PURCHASE or intrinsic value??

the problem is the OLD stuff when you aquire it is what you get it for.

total value of what I currently own in tekna alone is probably in excess of 1000 american dollars. total of my entire knife collection??? aw hell, closer to 5000 or more depending on market trends, if I sold them with cut throat pricing maybe way more. but I dont only own knives.... I like GUNS too : )

    seeya brother

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel I just love it :) But you know.. that's alot of money, but as a weaponcollector myself, I think it's well worth the money too. As the years pass by, I will get more knifes and making more weapons.

  • Awesome colection Dude!!

Thanks for doing this vid,,it makes me wanna go 88 in a delorean and visit a dive shop in cali'

    Love your style Dude

    You 'da man!!

    Out

  • @JohnWayneColt45 Hmm.. I got one better then a delorean.

look here on my channel for my CRX SI video..I'm not saying I do it ALL the time..but that honda has run up to 115MPH, I THINK I WENT BACK IN TIME... well, my clock stopped working for at LEAST a millisecond..whatta rush.

enjoy the selection brother... let me know if any of them stood out as a must have.

    SEEYA

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel Just checked it Dude,diggin it!!

Your whole collection is very nice, not sure what you'd part with but

I would love to get my mitts on a Dive knife and sheath,,also a hidden edge, those look SWEET!!

  • @JohnWayneColt45 dive knives definately doable..but I only have two hidden edges...one new in box and one used one I've carried and like enough to hang onto. let me know maybe two dives? one with leather and one with the plastic scabbard with it's belt clip? or two dives? one leather and one plastic and set of straps? let me know.. either way I'm cool with it.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel I'm cool with the 2 dives leather and plastic with clip.Lets work a deal out Dude!

  • RIP DIO

  • i gotta get some tekna's
