I suppose it still would justify an M rating for the ending alone of the exploding Hitler (if it is Hitler?) head in HD reworked graphics. I'm sure the rest of the game up until that basically can be rated T. Agreed?
I also want to point out how cool the character looked in Bionic Commando for NES. His hair isn't brown and funky looking like it was on NES. But isn't this supposed to be years after that one? If so wouldn't it be like Deja Vu all over again? Well since I didn't beat the game, does that mean the last boss isn't Hitler? I know that subject is really controversial but I want to know if this is actually a sequel to the story of NES game and/or Gameboy Color game? I wonder....
It's a remake. It's not a sequel to the NES story, it is the NES story further expanded. The new "Duke Nukem" Spencer was probably based heavily on the actual sprite (Where he looked like he wore glasses) than the portrait art seen in the game.
Actually this portrait "Duke Nukem" like Spencer looks like how he looked on the artwork on the box of the NES cartridge which I owned long ago. I kind of like the brown haired portrait better because it seemed to fit the sci-fi theme better. But the NEW Bionic Commando 2 coming next on 360 I'm not too fond of. I don't like that he has dreadlocks. Is that a sequel years after this one?

And the New Bionic Commando is a sequel. But if you own Rearmed (or just know somebody with the code), you can unlock this version of Spencer to play in the game.
Yeah I knew about the code thing in New Bionic Commando. Wonder how it will look when I put the code in? What's the guy's name in New BC? Also Spencer? I think it would be cool if the next last boss was Osama Bin Laden and you could blow up his head too or do something else innovative but crazy violent.
Also someone said that the ending doesn't have Hitler's head blowing up in bloody gibs. I loved that moment back in the day. There wasn't any game like it anywhere. It was the reason to own an NES. I'm going to work my way through this game slowly this week.
The head explosion is in the game, and quite graphic I might add. However, certain regions such as Germany, Japan and South Korea get a version without it, due to censorship laws.

Too good to be true than it is in most cases. The game is okay though. I got it. I don't think it's as great as everyone saying. Why? Starting over when you die from the beginning isn't fun. I thought I was the Bionic Commando master back in the day when I played and beat it a few times. Now the control just isn't the same. Japanese get everything better than U.S. anyway. The music there won't be suited to American audiences supposedly. At least that's what Microsoft probably thinks.
It's a tough game. I'm trying on hard first and it's definitely hard. This is why I can't really get past area 1. I wanted to do hard first so I can get all the achievements. I'll revert to easy. If anyone can beat this on Super Hard then you're definitely hardcore. I wonder why this is rated M though. I didn't find any strong language and so far the only graphic violence in it is shooting other soldiers. They scream when they die but don't bleed. They don't fall back when you use bionic arm.
