cause some cars are designed for dual exhaust and so they compensate for that. In a prelude they come with stock single exhaust which means that they arent designed for the smaller amount of backpressure

Not true.
Without back pressure you lose maybe 1-2 hp, but gain torque.
So your not losing power.
