The color palette of the Blue in the stars is the same as Sonic, so when he goes super with them on, the color changes to match his. And that's something I was doing since I was little. But the rest of it is definitely a bunch of glitches. Debug Mode was basically there to test the limits of the game, and see what you can find.
I know a gltch in hill top zone act 1,2 and 3 go on the round eyed thing on the blue sesaw-shaped liked spring and spin when u make it jump and when it hits the ground (make shure ur on the other side) AND ur walkin on the spot with spindash smoke let go to roll and be set free
there's a REAL glitch in the Oil Ocean level...use debug mode, become super sonic, then jump into one of those machines that blasts you around between them, then WHILE IN THE AIR BETWEEN THE MACHINES, engage debug mode, so that you stop in mid air. disengage debug mode so that you drop down. You'll retain some modifier that allows you jump HIGHER than normal even for super sonic, and go WAY faster than super sonic normally can. in fact with one jump, you can jump across almost half the level
theres another way to do the first glitch with unlimited working invincibility.first,get super sonic,then you hit a switcharoo box while in super form and your invincibility will go to tails.hit another switcharoo box to get your invinibility back from tails because when you hit the first box you give your invincibility to tails,and the second time you take it back from tails.
The reason the sparkles are tinted yellow in the first one is because of the way the game works. All the colors are represented in a pallet. When you turn into super sonic, sonic's colors turn into super sonic's colors. This is how the glowing looks smooth. Since normally only sonic has those colors everything works fine. However, the tint of the sparkles uses colors from sonic's pallet, so they turn gold. Hope that's cleared up.

@DocRavage SONIC 4 might be the to get super sonic, but here's some tips for 2. Basically, know your levels for checkpoints. back track for rings everytime you come out of a bonus zone so you have enough for the next checkpoint. As far as the bonus zones go, its all patterns. every zone except for the last (random rings EVERYWHERE) are all patterns just to remember. If you have the game on 360 save before each checkpoint, if you screw up just reload your game and you can go back in :0) practice

@DocRavage for stage 7 its all patterns for the first 2 segments. GET AS MANY COINS AS YOU CAN! when you get to the 3rd segment its all random coins and a shit ton of bombs.. basically the last segment is set up to make you lose all the coins you obtained so just learn where everything is.. you could probably watch all the bonus zones on youtube somebody has them all up im sure. so good luck. if nobody has any up and you still need help, when i get my capture card ill show you the easiest ways!

Well, debug isn't even a glitch really as it was left in the game :P most of the things I do ARE glitches, but the fact that debug mode is on doesn't change them. you dont have to have debug on for all of them (as I've recently discovered) but having them on there is a lot quicker. would you rather spend 5 seconds for me to generate rings to become super, or watch for an extra 2 minutes while I go round and collect rings before doing anything? Thought so :)

That one on there is Super Sonic; shown in almost all games after Sonic 2 at some point.
The one YOU'RE thinking of is called Hyper Sonic; flashing through the 5 colours, has the ability to dash from in the air, and is a lot stronger/faster thank Super Sonic. He's part of the game when you get all the chaos emeralds (become super) then all the super emeralds (become hyper)-also in Sonic 3- No Game Genie needed there =P
theres another glitch on debug when sonic comes out of the screen before the credits u can run across the sceen and if u die the credits repat itself again XD
the ending is too funny. Like, sudden u just get pulled into nothing and then on the splash sprite you just casually roll back onto the screen for yourself, trying to see if anything would happen by jumping on top of sonic. It's like a magic trick where you're supposed to become invisible go horribly wrong.

Sorry, it would seem you have your facts a tiny bit muddled =P
That one on there is Super Sonic; shown in almost all games after Sonic 2 at some point.
The one YOU'RE thinking of is called Hyper Sonic; flashing through the 5 colours, has the ability to dash from in the air, and is a lot stronger/faster thank Super Sonic. He's part of the game when you get all the chaos emeralds (become super) then all the super emeralds (become hyper)-also in Sonic 3- No Game Genie needed there =P

theres another glitch on debug when sonic comes out of the screen before the credits u can run across the sceen and if u die the credits repat itself again XD

the ending is too funny. Like, sudden u just get pulled into nothing and then on the splash sprite you just casually roll back onto the screen for yourself, trying to see if anything would happen by jumping on top of sonic. It's like a magic trick where you're supposed to become invisible go horribly wrong.

I'll do nothing, I'm just stating my opinion. Debug mode shouldn't be used to glitch a game since it already messes it upand a normal player would never get there without cheating.
And what's going to happen if a kid below ten sees a swear? Will the world explode? You put no rating there, you have no excuse for being annoyed at swears.

Ahhh yes I know that one =P I was going to add it in but I completely forgot to record it; my one always records at half speed (otherwise everythig gets blury) which makes it a bit harder and more frustrating but better at a couple of points I guess. After spending about 4 hours making this video, spending more time trying to make everything shorter so that I could add that in was waaaaaay out of my mindframe =P xD

i love the music in the beginning where you select the file it also sounds like waiting room music it's so cool. (oh by the way do you know where i can by chance find a working SEGA emulator and Rom for that game?)
