You make a very good point, however, these ladies are representing the organization as a whole. I'm sure their graduate advisor would not be very pleased with the choice of music or dance. Yes the stroll was "crunk", "tight", etc., however it does not make us look good: as ladies, or women in a BGLO. As greeks, we should be more careful with the decisions we make when presenting ourselves in front of a group.

yall are putting to much into the song. Its not about what song they stroll to. AKA's and Deltas each have a different way that they stroll or step or even act and thats what makes them unique and beautiful. The song is simply there for them to stroll to not really paying attention to the words. It aint about bitches and hoes. Comeon now. Grow up. You make a very good point, however, these ladies are representing the organization as a whole. I'm sure their graduate advisor would not be very pleased with the choice of music or dance. Yes the stroll was "crunk", "tight", etc., however it does not make us look good: as ladies, or women in a BGLO. As greeks, we should be more careful with the decisions we make when presenting ourselves in front of a group.

I agree with you babygurl. That was disappointing. Although, I understand the fact that they were in a stroll competition, my sorors should have choosen a better song selection. Based on who we are and what we were created to represent, this song was not an appropriate choice for the devine women of deltas sigma theta sorority to represent themselves. We have always been the ones to stand up against misogynistic lyrics and degrading treatment of women. With Forever and Much love!!

Not insecurity, just truth. These ladies are representing something greater than themselves. When you become a member of a BGLO, a LOT of responsibilities come with it. You can't just do and say anything while wearing your letters. The comments stormofwizdom and I made were out of love. Don't want to see BGLOs being misrepresented; that's all.
