I just recently started learning Mandarin, and thought that it'll be helpful to include Quran in Mandarin language into my learning routine. Is it possible to get good quality audio Quran in Mandarin language in China?
you see Islam is more powerful than both capitalism and socialism. Islam is real freedom for people. it is like a gold standard in our money. islam is no kings, presidents, etc. each father is an imam to his family, etc. china will be hard to convert but it can happen in next 50 years

The Qur'an is in Arabic, but Arabic doesn't belong to the Arabs alone. Many non-Arabs contributed to the growth of Arabic after Islam. Arabic is the language of Muslims not Arabs.

The Prophet Muhammad[SAW] himself mentioned in a hadith said that to seek knowledge even if you have to go to CHINA, it seems Islam reached the lands from CHINA fromt thereon.
@sunmoonstargood its not in the quran but in the hadith. but many say it is a weak hadith but some say its fairly authentic, considering at that time China has many knowledge in terms of medicine and technology and such.

But there are many unathentic hadiths, so you must be very careful about its sources. Usually hadiths compiled in sahih or book of Imam Muslim and Bukhari are authentic.

Bukhari is a scholar that compiles the sayings of the Prophet SAW.
SAW means SALALLAHUALAYWASSALAM which means peace be upon him, its our prayer to GOD for Muhammad SAW.
Quran is what GOD said, and the hadith is what the prophet told us or exemplefy for us to do but he said or did it by the guidance of GOD so the hadith are also and order from GOD.

Can you tell me, what do you muslim think about China according to your religious tradition? You know we Chinese (vast majority) are godless people, we have been this way for thousands years. @sunmoonstargood there are no particular description concerning china in Islam. but about godless people we are told to tell them of the message of Muhammad SAW and encourage them to embrace Islam and accept them. We are not to harm them, lest they harm us first.
I believe although a majority of chinese are atheist, but most of them do embrace buddhism or taoism which is another discipline of life.
@sunmoonstargood although probably most chinese are atheist or agnostic nowadays, buddhism have tremendously impacted on chinese culture and past which greatly shape the chinese culture today.
know this, buddha was a prophet of GOD. He spoke the words which GOD ordered him to, which is the worship of GOD and prohibition of making statues of buddha. But like any other religion besides Islam, theholy scriptures has been corrupted, and now buddhists are atheist and they make statues of buddha.

U r right, Chinese traditionly believes Buddhism, Taoism & Confucianism, but all 3 are godless=don't believe there is a creator in the universe, so there is a underlying reason why China is now ruled by communism=another godless belief. I myself is a Buddist. "Make statues of Buddha" is not worship Buddha, coz Buddha & any believer are in 1,not someone outside the believer, it is the believer himself, hv a statue is for the concentrating/organizing purpose.

@ilikeagent047, yes, I know buddha asked not to worship him, he even asked his pupple not to reliey on him, everone should reliey on oneself, he was the teacher there to guide u, not god to do it for u. However, people hv different natures, recognize that, if some believers hs to have a statue to concentrate/organize, it's allowed, just as teacher always try to make adjustment for differnt students, but serve the same outcome. Buddha, LaoZi(tao) & CongZi (confusian), all 3 r Teachers, not god.

But Buddhists judge the Ultimate truth according to a principle called consistancy=a truth should be a consistant one-if a theory is a unversal truth, then it should apply to Everything. If it only good for some of the things, not everything, then, it's a relative truth, not a Ultimate truth. In this case, if everything is created, then, god should also be a created 1; but u Changed at the Ultimate step, that means ur theory isn't the Ultimate truth.

Buddha knew then how difficult it was for most of people to accept his theory; even though buddhism opens for everyone. For me, no creator is much easier to accept, coz I don't hv to ask why he create this world, what he is going to do with this it, what will happen afterwards, what his purposes, etc. People make up stories on those issues, I found these stories are much harder to accept. hehe

“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,

The Qur'an is in Arabic, but Arabic doesn't belong to the Arabs alone. Many non-Arabs contributed to the growth of Arabic after Islam. Arabic is the language of Muslims not Arabs.

The Prophet Muhammad[SAW] himself mentioned in a hadith said that to seek knowledge even if you have to go to CHINA, it seems Islam reached the lands from CHINA fromt thereon.

@sunmoonstargood its not in the quran but in the hadith. but many say it is a weak hadith but some say its fairly authentic, considering at that time China has many knowledge in terms of medicine and technology and such.

@sunmoonstargood hadith are authentic sayings and traditions of the prophet Muhammad SAW concerning the conducts of a muslim, about muslim laws, and even predictions about the future. But there are many unathentic hadiths, so you must be very careful about its sources. Usually hadiths compiled in sahih or book of Imam Muslim and Bukhari are authentic.

@sunmoonstargood yes, it is very important for us and we consider it laws and semi-obligatory laws.
Sahih Muslim and Bukhari are a compilation of the words of the Prophet Muhammad SAW that are compiled by Imam Muslim and Imam Bukhari, and their compilation are regarded the most authentic.
it is widely available in th muslim world or muslim stores across the world, so if youre interested by it you can get it, also I suggest the quran which is even more reccomendable.

The most authentic compilation is by Imam Muslim and Imam Bukhari. It is readily available in the muslim world and muslim stores across the world, so if you are interested by it you can get it anywhere. I also suggest to you the quran which is even more reccomendable. I hope it will be of benefit to you.

Bukhari is a scholar that compiles the sayings of the Prophet SAW.
SAW means SALALLAHUALAYWASSALAM which means peace be upon him, its our prayer to GOD for Muhammad SAW.
Quran is what GOD said, and the hadith is what the prophet told us or exemplefy for us to do but he said or did it by the guidance of GOD so the hadith are also and order from GOD.

Can you tell me, what do you muslim think about China according to your religious tradition? You know we Chinese (vast majority) are godless people, we have been this way for thousands years. How would like to treat this group of people?

@sunmoonstargood there are no particular description concerning china in Islam. but about godless people we are told to tell them of the message of Muhammad SAW and encourage them to embrace Islam and accept them. We are not to harm them, lest they harm us first.
I believe although a majority of chinese are atheist, but most of them do embrace buddhism or taoism which is another discipline of life.

@sunmoonstargood although probably most chinese are atheist or agnostic nowadays, buddhism have tremendously impacted on chinese culture and past which greatly shape the chinese culture today.
know this, buddha was a prophet of GOD. He spoke the words which GOD ordered him to, which is the worship of GOD and prohibition of making statues of buddha. But like any other religion besides Islam, theholy scriptures has been corrupted, and now buddhists are atheist and they make statues of buddha.

U r right, Chinese traditionly believes Buddhism, Taoism & Confucianism, but all 3 are godless=don't believe there is a creator in the universe, so there is a underlying reason why China is now ruled by communism=another godless belief. I myself is a Buddist. "Make statues of Buddha" is not worship Buddha, coz Buddha & any believer are in 1,not someone outside the believer, it is the believer himself, hv a statue is for the concentrating/organizing purpose.

but if I'm not mistaken, buddha also ordered not to make statues of him to his followers, so if you make statues of him, wouldnt it be a disobedience ?
and about GOD or CREATOR, if you think about it this universe is and has been expanding. at some point in time, everythin that expands start from zero, but before zero, what then ? it has to have a CREATOR, logically.

@ilikeagent047, yes, I know buddha asked not to worship him, he even asked his pupple not to reliey on him, everone should reliey on oneself, he was the teacher there to guide u, not god to do it for u. However, people hv different natures, recognize that, if some believers hs to have a statue to concentrate/organize, it's allowed, just as teacher always try to make adjustment for differnt students, but serve the same outcome. Buddha, LaoZi(tao) & CongZi (confusian), all 3 r Teachers, not god.

But Buddhists judge the Ultimate truth according to a principle called consistancy=a truth should be a consistant one-if a theory is a unversal truth, then it should apply to Everything. If it only good for some of the things, not everything, then, it's a relative truth, not a Ultimate truth. In this case, if everything is created, then, god should also be a created 1; but u Changed at the Ultimate step, that means ur theory isn't the Ultimate truth.

@sunmoonstargood I understand how you perceive, but everything cant always be in uniformity like that. A fish breathes in water whilst a human dont. A creation is created while a CREATOR obviously cannot be created because it is THE CREATOR, if it was created than it would be a creation not THE CREATOR.
do you see this logic, its very obvious thats why we muslims and other GOD believers will be impossible to accept the buddhist views, will all due respect to buddhists.

@ilikeagent047, buddism isn't for everyone, just as no 1 size shoe can fit all, buddha recognized that. Buddha knew then how difficult it was for most of people to accept his theory; even though buddhism opens for everyone. For me, no creator is much easier to accept, coz I don't hv to ask why he create this world, what he is going to do with this it, what will happen afterwards, what his purposes, etc. People make up stories on those issues, I found these stories are much harder to accept. hehe

@sunmoonstargood these stories about GOD are not accepted by people before considering the logic behind it. yes size 1 shoe cant fit all, but the thing is all poeple are the same, athey are all size 1, there is only one type of humans and we all of the same nature with or size with only diverse attributes, but still the same size.

actually we and the jews and the christians, even the hindus, even buddha , worship the one and only GOD. so its the same for us, only how we worship and live the life is different which is subject to intense philosophical and doctrinal debate, which is usually won by muslims, because our doctrine proved to be the most consistent and logical.

@ilikeagent047,if someone tells u she loves u, then changes her mind 3 days later,do u believe her love is real, is a true love? Of course not. Same thing when buddism talking about the Ultimate truth. buddhism believes the law of consistancy=No Changing, an Ultimate truth has to pass 3 tests: it has to be something that WAS always this way in the PAST; that IS this way everywhere NOW; something WILL BE for sure this way in the FUTURE. None of the theories of god religion can past this 3 tests.

SUSTAINER is something that sustains and dont need to be sustained. we are the sustained. we need sunlight, water, oxygen to live, but we cant make those things ourselves, which makes us having a SUSTAINER. and havinng a SUSTAINER means the same thing as having a GOD, wether people realize it or not.

@sunmoonstargood its not GOD that doesnt fit the truth, but its your theory doesnt fit the truth. A company owner does not take an order from a manager or a staff. But that fact doesnt effect the harmony of the company, because thats the way it is, in a way the owner sustains all the lower staff.
the same in nature. people need oxygen and water to remain alive, but they cant make that basic need itself, they can only acquire it, this fact proves that humans are not in control of their basic need
