Also, there has been lots of research about the casualties, and no one of them are agreed on the true number, yet... But if what your'e saying are true, the Finnish did even better. :D

Finnish officers had to watch carefully that captured USSR soldiers were treated in accordance to the Genva convention. In the Red Army, the officers did not even try; cruelty was rewarded. 2 Finnish SS Mikael Pyyhtiä and Ensio Könönen where surround in small hill during combat but still they hold soviet forces over 6 hour with hand grenades, MG-42 and Karl98K and when help finally arrived they count that over 300 soviet soldier where killed or wounded.

The strenght of Finland was that whaever their world view, all agreed that Stalin's communism was not for us - rather dead.

Finland has all ways been country of "russophobia" and why should it not be? We have a major power next door that could kick our teeth in when ever they would like and all our major wars have been against russia in some way or another. btw finns did have a chance to buy back Karelia but our government chose not to because it would drain too much money and just not be worth it.
