  • Nice escape @ 4:30.

  • Man, this must be the most versatile car in the world. I know the Fozzie is marketed as having "light off-road capabilities," but videos like this make me wonder if it is, in reality, a genuine off-road vehicle. Anyone? Bueller?

  • sweet action

  • You should be on Subaru's payroll - or the least they could do is give you a new Forester every year. Great Vids - - - Great Car!!!

  • very good video!

  • It seems that when you don't have real snow you have at least real mud :D

  • This is why you either buy them brand new, or from old ladies. That is, if you want it running at peak performance! Just saying

  • @jshrckstar

Currently is running in peak performance. I meticulously maintain my car, and replace parts as needed. I'm willing to bet my car runs better than most people who just drive back and forth to work. lol.

  • awesome clips mate. looks like you have a heap of fun in it. does it have a limited slip diff in the back at all? and is it lifted or is that stcok height?

    cheers

  • @TheDirtydavo

Stock height, it has a stock LSD in the back, but nothing useful off road.

  • Love your vid! I have a forester mod 2008 factory and its awesome even with the Yokohama Geolander which arent good mud tires.

  • hows the turbo and suspension on this vehicle? i live down in texas and im wondering if it would be good for like drifting on the beach, climbing sand dunes, and going through some mud.

  • @erkod

The turbo is absolutely fantastic, extremely quick car on road (Car and Driver got it down to 5.3 0-60 times with the manual), and very capable off road (or the automatic). It's the best all-rounder out there. As for sand and mud, that's what Subaru's were built for. But the tires are another matter. All Terrains are great in sand, but not so much in mud. Mud terrain tires are great in mud, but suck in sand. You need to find a tire good in both. Either way, the Foz can handle it.

  • I build lifts for that subie hit me up

  • bravo bluefix

  • Awesome clips! This is the stuff I dream of doing in my Outback!!!

Do you have any skid plates? I know my Outback has the Subaru rear differential guard, I was surprised to see yours didn't have one.

  • @AWDfreak - On most of the clips, there are no skid plates. I focus more on wheel placement, but recently, I put on an OEM steel skid plate from an old 1985 Subaru Loyale Wagon, a little modification needed, but it's a small skid plate only covering the oil pan/oil filter, which is what I wanted.
