  • IS JUDAS SINGER.....ROB LOL.

  • I think this Judas is great, but the music director was taking this way too slow in my opinion.

  • They didn't have the "MY GOD I SAW HIM!!!!" part.

  • JCS is not a Lady Gaga song. Directors should know it.

  • this guys voice is a little too winey, but i do somewhat prefer him to the 2000 movie guy and tony vincent who is way to boy-bandish to be judas.. but lets be frank, still up until today Carl Anderson has the untouchable bar set.. he was by far the best

  • @slashedmckagan Drew Sarich?

  • This is obviously based on the 2000-version. I hate actors who try to copy the work of other people, rather then creating a role of their own. Of course, using the work of others as inspiration isn't wrong. That is even logical. But as soon as you litteraly copy another's work, you aren't worthy to be an actor yourself. Acting is about creating, about letting people féél. A copy is never as good as the original.

  • This is sooooo good, it's chilling.

  • at the beginning he reminded me of a zombie midget

  • wow.... that's all i can think to say

He doesnt seem to look the part of judas entirely, but he has an incredible voice. Plus he can act the part well, so it doesnt matter at all if he doesnt look it

  • a little creepy but good

  • I am a new fan of this show, since May of 2008 haha but my mom was obsessed when it came out in the early 70's. Anyway, upon realizing that Judas's part can also be vocally "rangey," not just Jesus's, I would love to see Adam Lambert fulfill his dream of playing Judas in this show. He has a unique blend of rock opera, pop, and classical musical theatre in his voice. He also has a great vocal range and is a moving performer. To many, he was above the level of American Idol. This is great!

  • Nice try. You've got a bit too a shrill voice for judas, though.

  • Judas acts weirdly....

The best interpretation I can think is that Judas got drunk to numb the pain but it didnt help...

  • such gimmicky singing and acting...is that the performer or the direction?

  • i LOVE the sound effect of his body swinging! i saw the production with ted neeley and james delisco, and they did a similar thing, but no sound of his body swinging. either use that partiulcar sound effect or show a shadow of judas' body swinging. nice job here!

  • that guy's fucking scary...that's how Judas should look!

  • This is never how Judas should look, - I personally think, that Judas could have been any person on earth, Judas represents the doubt, the persuit of something more, that is hidden in every single person, - temptation!

why should he look like a monster then ?! XD I don't get it., He's just human.

  • he has a high voice... want to see him perform the other songs... this production looks really good!

  • I really want to see this guy do "Heaven on their Minds".

  • To all the haters of this Judas, he is far better than alot of the actors I've seen trying to take this role. And it is an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT role. This guy manages to put a lot of emotion into his acting, which is more than I can say for the majority of people who take on this role.

  • @ExplodingBacon He really isn't... Tony Vincent and Jerome Whathisface are ten times better than him.

  • @ExplodingBacon Dude, have you heard Drew Sarich's role as Judas??? Awesome username, by the way! :DDDD

  • whoever said it was flat...ahem...it's sharp. and it's caused by lack of support.

  • gross.

  • does he care for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee? so good

  • where are the high preist?

  • They aren't in there for his death. They leave before this part.

  • this is a suicide, not murder.priests leave judas alone to face his own self-judgement.

  • where are the high preist?

  • i think his voice is a little to ohigh for the part, but his acting is not too bad

  • good voices bad acting

  • Y'all should hear Daniel when he's doing his own music. Freakin' amazing. And all his high notes are full voice... :-)

  • bahaha!! This is ridiculous.

  • not the best judas ive ever heard

but i mean the band is gross not rocking at all in the beginning

    i prefer drew or ben

but im very very happy top see theatre in egypt and the middle east

as a muslim i always hope for more of it

  • Umm, dude, as you can see in the credits..this theater is in Utah. The name of things are sometimes just becuase they sound cool.

  • Why can't someone find a decent Judas? The entire musical revolves around it!

  • Wow, he's a real tenor, isn't he? I've never thought a Judas could possibly be TOO MUCH of a tenor. :P His voice is probably better suited for Opera.

  • or at least Annas...

  • agreed for annas.

  • lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. woooooooooooooooooow.

    nothing compared to carl anderson.

  • Those high notes were flat. Ouch.

  • They weren't flat...just...not pretty.

  • Carl Anderson is the best :D

  • No one will ever surpass Carl Andersons role as Judas.

  • Except Drew Sarich.

  • And Murray Head.

  • i agree with you. Drew Sarich was really good, but no one can hold a candle to carl anderson.

  • I saw this production and loved the way he portrayed this role. I love Pradon as well. In this production - Judas was my fav by far. Didn't think I would ever be able to see it again - thanks for posting.

  • I think his voice does a great job of conveying the agony and extreme emotions of this part of the story. I mean, this is a man about to kill himself.

  • I dont know but i really like his voice just sometin about it...

  • I like his attitude, but I hate his voice.

  • this guy should be fronting good charlotte. I dont know why you guys give jerome praddon such a hard time. he has one of the best ranges of any judas ive ever seen.

  • jerome pradon's range, eh... it is the placement of his voice i don't like. drew sarich, i am sure you have seen/heard him. if not please youtube him.

  • Right.Hard to top Drew

  • You guys are ridiculous. Anyone who can pull off this scene is brilliant!

  • I agree. And his acting and intensity are definitely there, even though his voice doesnt convince me. Youtube Gorgui Moffat's version of this scene... those are the types of Judases I personally like.

  • I disagree. First...I don't think he pulled it off all that well. Second...pulling off this scene, albeit difficult, is not "Brilliant."

It's one of the most difficult roles in musical theater...vocally and otherwise.

  • He may be whiny...but atleast he hits the notes and can obviously sin. Unlike Jerome.

    Carl Anderson forever.

  • wow, i actually prefer jerome than this guy, though he does portray judas' suffering fine

  • He made me giggle! When he is screaming at god he's like a little child

  • He reminds me of the guy from the 2000 versions videos. I don't think he's that bad though.

  • uh... I don't like him! Hes not good! please don't hurt me!

  • I AGREE with tinman!! Not good guys..not good at all!

  • Wow. The neck breaking sound is pretty fuckin' gnarly...

  • hmm this guys aint TOO BAD

but he sure comes across as a whilngey bitch..i mean he makes jerome pradon look valliant

the start he seemed too feeble

  • wow...this guy is all the things that Judas in JCS should definately NOT be. what a travesty
