I think there was a time when Disney, or popculture for that matter had some fuel that was worth running on. But it gave up on trying to have that, the people who run the machine made sure of it. Pop culture is a reflection of the culture at large. The outrageousness of pop culture over the last few years is a reflection of the what had been going on in America and the world in general. What with the unjust wars, political lies from our leaders, over spending and investment speculation that got completely out of hand until the world experienced a financial meltdown.
