Big Ups & MUCH RESPECT to the Spinners on the turntables: DJ’s Larry Patterson (my FORMER next door neighbor, RIP), Francois K (Kevorkian), Tee Scott, Tony Humphries, & Larry Levan (RIP)

I gotta agree with the masses on this one....I remember playin this (and many other house/club jams) on the way to Wildwood...(smiles) hell...this track single-handedly rocked many a party and club back in the day and I would be willing to bet that if you threw this on at any party or club today there would be a mad rush to the dance floor!!!!
In my opinion the best house song EVER ,an absolute monster of its time it took you to places on the dancefloor that only ones fantasy set the bounderies to,a place where all were welcome a place where all were equal a place where we were one.
run666 and magol, JACK was the entity that replaced DANCE in house music. One would truly become "1" with the music and be in another world completely; more than dancing, the body was HiJACKED by the force of the feeling. There was truly nothing like it. House music was joy, peace, unity. How hip hop stemmed from that, I'll never figure out. All I know is that it killed house music as it was. SAD. btw, I turned 48 this January, so I was there
jack is not a person, its a kind of spirit that goes with the house, a lot of classic anthems includes this word in his tracks. Its the Spirit of groove thath makes the people have a good time together. I dont know if i have asked you correctly.
@rebeccasmith95 HAHAH You older than me (35)....LOL This is the first time I've heard this one. BUt, I lived in Germany 94-96 and we were going to a few clubs every weekend all over the region I was in. It was PHENOMONAL!
i love house!!! best music there is out there!!! forget all this rap and hip hop! im 18 an love house music! house music takes you there to that zone onli few ppl will ever know the true meaning behind house music!!
@avila0624, I love rap hiphop and house. The new rap and hiphop just kills music. Hiphop is dead. An example of real pure hiphop, with love and soul. Is 2pac's 'changes'.
psyd0nym,,,don't waste your time on those who never got and never will. We'll be the lucky ones who love and GET House while idiots like narr69 (SUCH a creative and intelligent name, lol) keep their commercialized pop crap.
wtf, this track is still magnificent.... i love it so much....
