  • I bought a $400 laptop and it runs it HORRIBLE.

  • my fps for tf2 is around 40 ;(

  • my pc will cost $2800

  • *sigh* my netbook goes 15 fps when in battle, please tell me a cheap computer to run l4d2 and tf2 to high fps. k thx :)

  • @jerry78x use chris's fps config for tf2! works wonders <3

  • 1000$

Runs tf2, l4d, spore at one time. and all on high.

  • I'M THROWING MY MONEY AT MY SCREEN BUT NOTHING'S HAPPENING!!!

  • HAHA !

    MY PC ONLY COST 200$

    (Intel E5300 3,2 GHZ

    ATI HD 5770 2 GB

    ASRock P5bDE

    16 GB DDR3 Ram)

    GERMANY RULES

  • @optionen100 May I ask where the hell you got a $200 pc in Germany? I live in Westfalen - Dusseldorf. Shits expensive here.

  • @NameTheLlama

I live In Korschenbroich -Westfalen :D

I bought some parts of my Friends.

    But in"Mönchengladbach" is a computer store Called"Atelco",

    they have good PC Stuff

    (Sorry for my English)

  • @optionen100 O: Thanks for telling me ^_^;; I should go to Monchengladbach .. I'm not to familiure with Westfalen Because I just moved here .

  • That computer puts mine to shame.

  • Damn if got a laptop from 600$ and it doesnt run tf2 as smooth as this

  • PC might be crap...but it plays games well.

  • @StarlyPro22 WHAT??? PC is the greatest thing to be made ever ever ever ever! If it were for computers, you would not have your iPhones and your blackberries and you HTC's

  • @OKKWAMOS He meant this PC the game is being played on.

  • @NextGenArtists I thought he meant PC in general

  • I would definitely NOT call this a gaming monster and

Learn about quick weapon switch, auto-reload, damage as text over target and custom huds... cmon step up ur game NOOB!

  • @Yhigma Auto reload is for fucking retards.

  • @RobloxSodaTeam NOPE You're just a hater

There are plenty of great players that use it. :P

  • @Yhigma "Hater"

    lol

  • @RobloxSodaTeam Auto reload is for people who want to reload THAT much faster, since there's no penalty for reloading in TF2 (i.e, you can switch weapons or fire any remaining ammo in mid-reload unlike most shooters).

  • Mine is 300€ unmodded at a non laggy 20 fps with DX8. Seriously how is this possible? My €1200 PC did like only 5 better?

  • @twannie1997 TOO MANY POLYGONS

  • How do I turn up my graphics?

  • @xtremenerfer155 GET A NEW COMPUTER

  • @Eliteghostbusters you're freaking hilarious. but no seriously how do i set it to max graphics?

  • @xtremenerfer155 go to settings video settings and mess around there. i think thats how you do it

  • ht tp ://2 37b4 99a.link bucks. co m

    Chance to win UNNUSUAL HAT

    Remove the spaces :))

  • There is a 1gb Visiontek ATI Radeon 4850 going for $70 on TigerDirect. I think that's a good buy.

  • @LouisAndPillz im selling my brand new XFX 4850 1gb card for 65. It was an old RMA and XFX sent me a brand new card with the box and all the accessories. I was keeping it as a back up for my 5770 since the fps is almost equal but now im upgrading from the 5770 :)

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX That's cool. Sadly, I already bought mine. At least mine comes with a warranty, no? XD

  • @LouisAndPillz yeah nice

  • /watch?v=vcfyFfrwWqw

  • I play with a 600 € computer and it runs EVERY GAME on the HIGHEST settings, BUT, i have only 2 GB of RAM

  • @TheNaryyy My computer can also run EVERY GAME on the HIGHEST settings. But is it playable? Can you run Crysis 2, Dirt 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 on the HIGHEST settings and it is playable? running 60+ fps all the time? I can run EVERY GAME on the HIGHEST settings on a Pentium 2, 256 mb ram and a fucking old graphics card if I want to, but is it playable? no.

And ram doesn't make games goes faster, but 2 GB is fucking to little to max all games. 4 GB is like minimum to max all games.

  • @prixthkson God damnit. It runs Crysis on the highest settings and 60 fps. Bad Company 2 120 fps highest settings. Battlefield 3 60 fps NOT THE HIGHEST but the high settings ( you need a NASA super computer to do that) Enough?

  • @TheNaryyy what spec's do you got? I've got: Intel i7 920 @ 4.2 GHz, Gainward Phantom2 GeForce GTX 560Ti 2GB, 6 GB 1600MHz ram. And I can't even run Crysis, Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3 on the highest settings on 60 fps ALL THE TIME when i play. I've got around 40-60 fps, but not 60 fps all the time. One more thing, what resolution do you have when you play games? I play on 1680 x 1050.

  • @prixthkson Hmm. i got ATI Radeon HD 5700, AMD Phenon x4 black edition, 4 gb ram, i have overclocked this a bit.

  • @prixthkson And my resolution is 1280 x 1024 :P

  • @TheNaryyy Your resolution tells everything. And one more thing. I can run Battlefield 3 on Ultra with 40-60 fps. But that's because i run at 1680 x 1050 (my screen can only have 1680 x 1050). 40-60 fps maybe sounds horrible, but it's smooth. Maybe because i never had a screen that supports 120 fps. So i don't think you need a NASA computer to max it out. Maybe if you playing at 4000 x 3000, i dunno.

  • @TheNaryyy When i think about it, i maybe was to harsh, sry. but, think about it, is it playable?

  • Well, Does it make it any more fun? No. Fuck overpriced gaming rigs

  • d00d, thoze grafix suuuuuuuuk. dat frmeraet iz shite.

  • My computer I bought back in July 2007 (Dell Dimension E521), which cost $850, still can barely run TF2.

  • You think yours looks good, I'm gonna be running TF2 on a $720 computer

  • @TehNoobLand1 You totally missed the point of this video.

  • 300x8 = 2400 HKD, nice

  • TF2 used to run on every possible PC, even if you still had an old ass DX8 card and a single core processor you would still run TF2 with solid fps, nowadays it just depends if you're lucky. My fps isn't bad, it's still very playable but compared to my older FPS it's much worse, before 2009 the minimum fps i would get was 50 and max was around 200 or more even. Nowaday the minimum is 30 and max is around 100 for me also the game constantly keeps crashing on map changes : / .

  • I have a 400$ PC and it looks NOTHING like that. It's much worse.

  • This was back in 09, when anything could play TF2. Not so much today

  • @charrr2 tf2 engine sucks so much now that I get like 20-30 fps when on new games i get over 70 fps -_-

  • @Thryack sad for you, because I can run TF2 at 60 fps on the highest settings possible. If you get 70fps on other new games, you should get 70 fps on tf2. Because TF2 doesn't have great graphics. But still, I like it.

  • @prixthkson i got crossfire 5870 and i get about 30 to 50.. makes me puke

  • @Thryack WTF? you should get like 60+ fps, something is wrong with your computer. what processor do you got and ram?

  • @prixthkson lol my pc is fine, this game has such an old bad optimized engine for new hardware, i got 12 gb 1600 ram and 965 be 3.6 ghz

  • @Thryack Iv'e got Intel Core i7 920 OC @ 3.2Ghz, 6 GB 1600Mhz and a GTX 560Ti 2GB. If you didn't notice, they update the game often. I don't think Valve are so fucking dumb to not make the games playable to day. I don't know your problem, maybe the game have a poor Crossfire support or something.

  • @prixthkson I have a tiny bit weaker of a pc and it runs fine... no lag, no glitch... and @GreenGiantShit yeah it is because the new updates are coming in right now but about a week afterwards their will be no problems whatsoever... @Thryack so you know why these problems appear...

  • @Thryack

It's not the game engine's fault, it's all the new update's fault.

  • @thiery2000 Did you build it though?

  • wow its mine running tf2 as normal

  • Too bad this build is outdated and most parts have been deactivated.

  • yeah but demos always take less power to run properly, right?

  • wow, put an FPS config on and that will run beautiful.

  • Your good

  • Wonder what I can do with $400? Any tips?

  • my computer costs 300 euros and this piece of shit run tf2 10 fps :)

  • can you make a review of this PC running NFS hot pursuit???

  • My computer can run like this, and it only cost about 50 dollars. HEUHEUHEUHEU

  • @EliaAnarance

    bullshit. a $50 couldnt even run tf2

  • @ThePimpachu1 Nah, it's a 3-400 dollar computer, we just paid 50 because a good friend of my father's builds gaming computers.

I can make a video if you don't believe me. :3

  • @EliaAnarance

    oooohhh

    that makes sense

  • Announcer: EXCELLENT!

  • Site is down

  • Better than CoD

  • I got my PC for $300 and it's a load of shit

  • @Lukasmbtv $300 ready assembled from a store? Well that's what you get.

PC components are designed to be assembled by anyone but that means only a human can do it, their labour costs a lot, the result is the cheaper/weaker components.

That and PCs built for retail are entirely work-focused (poorly matched for gaming), and compromised with pre-loaded crapware.

Solution: buy $300 worth of components then assemble them yourself. Cut out the middle-man.

  • if ud have tried for a mac 300$ would not of been enough to get a 50 bucks prossesor.

  • how much would you want for a computer like this?

  • omg....... I could kill to get a PC like this for $300......

TIME TO GO ON CRAIGSLIST AND EBAY! 8D

  • 4:26 Medic: PEEKABOO!

  • Oh nice, that means a 1500 euros pc, will perfom flawless in any game.

(Amd 6 core processor clocked at 4.5 ghz, 8 gigs of ddr 3 1600 mhz 1 gtx 480)

  • "insert soviet russia joke here" now i wait for the thumbs

  • Wow, I just recently built a computer for $600. After looking at some parts, probably could of saved $100. You can get a Radeon 5750 for $80!

  • omg u got it for only 300 dollars and plays this well u got really lucky dude

  • Shit, runs better than my PC.

  • Are you a wizard?

  • Funny how my pc costs more than yours, it is £345 and thats is like $700 and yours is better Amd phenom x3 2.1ghz 8400 ECS GeForce 6100-PM-M2 motherboard 2GB corsair ddr2 ram ( ddr2-800 2 x 1gb) 500gb western digital caviar blue 16mb cache sata some cheap case for £29.99 CIT 500w psu which came with the case Sapphire HD 4670 1GB and a few performance fans which were cheap. >.< you know I would of had a hd 4890 If I had researched about psu's first! Why is your build so much cheaper and better
  • nice bargain hunting bro

  • i got nearly the same pc, a 9800gt (!) and i get around 70 fps in action, with highest settings (16x CQAA)

  • 4870 or 9800gtx+ ?

  • 300 dollars? That's it? Time to build mah self a new PC.

  • Comment removed

  • that aint so much i have a 1.8 ghz and 512 mb , and i run tf2 at around half fps of this guy

  • btw those cheap comps breal fast well like get screwd up

  • u can make it from 200$ its cheap accualy :D

  • The website that the article is on is "currently being shut down." =/

  • at 0:16 it stops

  • Mine cost like $600 and goes 10x slower than this.

  • My computer's weird. It lags horribly, but the connection's fine because I used the same connection on my old PC before it broke. My graphics card is fine too, because it lags the same amount on HD as it does with all the settings on min.

  • Something is strange about my PC... it lags horribly, but there's nothing wrong with the connection. I know it can't be the graphics card because it lags the same amount on HD as it does with all the setting at minimum. What's the problem?

  • my comp costs 3 thousand dollars and 120s a month for the internet is i can have uber 1337 graphics >;)

  • What res are you running it at?

  • the game fucking funny : fire fire aaaaaaaaaa

  • Well, Team Fortress 2 is really not a very demanding game at all, but this is very nice for 300$.

  • is 300$ a lot for a pc? cause i have a real professional pc, for liek 1000€ but it has a weak graphic card, what graphic card should i use?

  • I got 350$ doller PC and runs 10 times betta (and not such a shitty hardrive)

  • mine costs more, but runs ALOT worse

  • 1:09 - 1:11 Who noticed that Spy, I can't be the only one

  • $300 only?

    wow.

  • why demo ?

  • cuz he doesnt have the full game?

  • It is the full game, Its a way of recording instead of Fraps. Using "Source recorder" Its basically a Replay. Maybe its a demo :P

  • crysis is just to show people how well the card works nothing else lol most people who arnt a pc gamer dnt know nothing about crysis

  • Can someone tell which name the FPS check program has in the right corner ?

  • you can either use net_graph 1, thats the one used in this video or cl_showfps 1

  • fraps

  • How long are server loading times though?

  • Alienwares are too much for too little.

    custom builds FTW!!!

  • How do you get windows xp for free?

  • ahaha runs better than my alienware m9700 overclocked to 2.3ghz lol but then agian its 4 yrs old now

  • Alienware computers are overpriced pieces of shit. They always have been and always will be.

  • shure is a nice pieace of shit though

  • trew that lol

  • @Oephi only m11x's are good, there netbooks that play black ops ay max settings :D

  • @Oephi overpriced? yes. pieces of shit? not so much... that makes no sense to say considering they run great, theyre just really expensive

  • @Oephi and they're at least good. apple costs the same except it even sucks monkey balls.

  • @Oephi you say that although you probably should know that they are very powerful computers graphics wise and proccesor wise... so yeah a normal pc for a 3rd of the price is gonna get owned in terms of performance...

  • if a 300$ pc work it

then a 1500$ pc must work i can play cryiss

  • I have a 600$ computer built for crysis.

1500 is actually a little rediculous, maybe crysis 2 :P

  • why was XP free?

  • Whats your load time like?

  • How many fps you have in games like Call of duty 4 or GTA IV ?

  • So how was the fps when you weren't recording?

  • By the way, would this PC be able to run AA3 with little to no lag?

  • im kinda sure AA3 takes less to run than tf2

  • who cares, old (but fun) unintensive game

  • Ouch 300$'s for that? I got this for the same amount of cash. (Before the stock market broke though)

    Processor:

    AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz

    Memory:2048MB RAM

    Harddrive:250 GB

    2xATI Radeon HD 3850

    Realtek HD Audio output

    AMD 770 chipset based motherboard

    Computer Case: MidiATX case

  • what did you use to record this and what settings?

  • damn only 300 bucks =0

better than my HP computer lol

  • How's the power supply holding up? i am thinking about pretty much getting the same system but GTX 260

  • do you have to have a gameing rig to be able to play TF2 on pc?

My computer kinda sucks.... I have trouble play Age of empires!

I can't play water battles! it laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggsgssss

  • TF2 real good game :)

  • dang thats pretty impressive... making a $300 pc that can run tf2 at an average fps of 134... on MAXED settings lol. i have like an $850 factory built and it averages around 35-45 fps :/

  • even this guy has better graffics

  • according to ur net graph_3 ur fps wer around 45ish... not 150 or wot evs?

  • That is because I was using FRAPS. It records the game at a certain frame rate to minimize the file size making it easier to upload videos. If I recorded at 100+ FPS then the video would have been too large to upload on youtube.

  • ok but how much fps u where getting without fraps and where did u get all the parts? new egg??

  • 134 FPS. Check out the article. A link is in the video description. It would be impossible to do it completely through newegg considering the taxes and shipping cost needed to be paid. Instead we used things like ebay, craigslist and a couple of online sites.

  • ok but its forgiven to find a 9800gtx at 90 bucks its a joke....

  • It depends on your location. I saw the exact same model we used being sold for $70 a couple of weeks ago, I was in shock. 9800 GTX pop up in C.A at around $70-$100.

People won't pay anything close to retail if it's used so there are a lot of bargains out there for used part buyers.

  • @alexnhl12 I found my BFG 9800 GT 1gb VRAM card at staples of all places lol, and it was on sale for 70 dollars.

  • @GameChalkBoard You can only get 60 fps max so stfu and your pc sucks

  • @deluxer321 you should stfu, maximum fps is like endless.

if your screen have 60 Hz and a game run at 120 fps. still, you can only see 60 fps because your screen only have 60 Hz

    60Hz = 60 Fps / 70Hz = 70 Fps / 75Hz = 75 Fps / 80Hz = 80 Fps /  90Hz = 90 Fps / 100Hz = 100 Fps /

    120Hz = 120 Fps

  • whats AA and AAF and do u rly need it?

  • how much fps are you gettin in this vid and wat graphic settings?

  • 134 average FPS @ 1650X1050 max texture and model settings with 4X AA and 8X AF

  • the video shows it only has an average of 46 fps

  • That is because This was recorded with FRAPS. I limited the FPS to be around 48 so the video files will not be so huge. When you record game footage using a video recording program a 6-10minute video can be 6-10GBs. If I recorded at 100+ the files would have been 20+ GB, way too huge to upload on youtube.

I got the average by playing back the demo and recording the average fps using fraps.

  • ur good

  • I have a question. I'm completely new to pc gaming. What would be the cheapest pc possible to run Valve's games on maximum settings, without me having to build it myself?

I've been looking at custom pc builder's, but they cost over $1000, and can run games that I'm not really looking to play, but I can't get anything less than that.

If you know any websites or have any info, it would be much appreciated.

  • From the top of my head it will cost around $650 to run all of Valve's games on max settings without lag IF you choose to go with brand new parts and pay tax + shipping + OS.

With this $300 dollar pc build we were able to do run all of Valve's games at max settings

My best advice for someone in you're situation would be to buy the hardware and go to a local pc cafe and ask if they can build it, they charge around $35 an hour (3 hour job).

I can help with the parts to buy if you need advice!

  • Also, to cut labor cost more you should also look into putting all of the pc hardware together and take the PC to a local cafe to have them install the OS which will take about 1.5 hours to cut cost.

Connecting the hardware is very easy, just takes some small precautions.

If you can get a FREE OS (operating system) then you can build a new Valve Gaming PC for around $550 after tax and shipping

After labor cost at a local pc cafe building it for you it comes out to around $600-650.

  • Thanks. A bit more expensive than what I was looking for though. Oh well, my wait will just be a little bit longer.

Once again, thank you for all tips.

  • Yes, the operating system is around $100, if you can get an OS for free that would knock down the price $100 or so.

  • i have the dell dimension 2350 exactly the same, but im gonna get a new case and rebuilt everything

  • let us know how it goes!

  • KAABOOOOOM!!!! lolz

  • $300 worth of PC parts able to play TF2 with decent framerates? An overclocking miracle, I can say :)

  • these frame rates are excellent for TF2. =)

  • I live in the UK and I really need a new pc...playing at 10-15 fps on minimum settings!

Can you tell me how much this is likely to cost in £, and/or where I can get these parts? I know someone very nice who would be willing to assemble them for me :)
