"safe" has been my favorite britt nicole song forever. When I heard it on drop dead diva, I yelled so loud. Love Britt Nicole, her music, her faith, and everything she stands for. So much truth to what she has to say in this song. God's love is worth the risk, and he will slowly show you how to take those same risks in loving others without walls.
just a couple days ago, God spoke to me and told me to break down all my walls of insecurity... as i was watching this, i realized that that was what safe was about, about breaking down the walls of insecurity :)
i have one question about Christianity. .. so,why should we believe in someone and call him God, when he's a male, he needs sleep, and food. i think that , that's pretty normal. plus if he was 'God' then why would he need to die for our sins..? who did he die for? why should he die? mate, i don't think the owner/maker/God should abide by the humanity rules. then again, i guess my beliefs also have some unanswered questions. anyway, i really love the song safe. <3

God doesn't really have a gender but is refered to as "he" and he doesn't need sleep or food. I'm not sure what Catholics believe (I think they're the ones that believe they're the same) about this, but Jesus was a ransom that paid for our sins and imperfections that Adam & Eve brought upon us when they disobeyed God. Some Christians have other views :) <3

@iiJessx I believe God is all powerful and therefore has no need for sleep or food. I also believe that Jesus and God are one and the same. One is God the Father, the other (Jesus) is God the Son. Sin is rebellion against the laws of God and the payment for sin is death. Historically, sacrifices have been made to pay for sin. The reason God sent his Son Jesus was to be the final sacrifice. God no longer wanted temporary sacrifices. He sent Jesus to be the sacrifice for all sins by everybody.
@mccoyn3music Instead of sending Jesus as a sacrifice, why can't it be that Jesus was sent to inform the people that they shouldn't sacrifice for the sins?
@iiJessx i like these questions you ask! :) God loves justice. And because of that, some sort of payment needs to be made for our trespasses against him. He no longer wanted us to do that but sent his son Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice to cover all sins. His forgiveness is available to all, but only some accept it.
