@cheska576 Yes. I tend not to like libraries becuase the restrooms are always far from the tables so you need a laptop lock and even then I do not like to be that far away from my laptop.
I'm about in the same situation in Los Angeles, though I'm lucky because I can use the building of one of my temp jobs as a place to eat, shower, do laundry, store items, watch TV, get internet service... and even sleep on a few nights. I haven't really asked or tested how far their generosity will go, though. But I simply couldn't afford to keep my apartment any more and wanted to preserve my good credit rather than risk falling short on any payments.
@zambranaml I am sorry you are going though this not so much by choice. Hopefully you can save up and get back on your feet or adapt and enjoy the new mobile living lifestyle.
Thanx 4 the quick response. Looks like you're a night owl like me...lol! Where do you "base" yourself out of? I live in South Bay area, CA. Your philosophy is intriguing; have you the means to get yourself into a "better" vehicle, a van, perhaps? How do you keep up on personal sanitation? I had a 24-Hr Fitness membership to handle that. Are you employed again? I've seen your other vid's; I'll just keep praying 4 U, guy. Take care & God Bless, Paul
@TruckJuggler7 I am currently in the Sacramento area. I am always here and there. I do hope to upgrade to a van. I use a gym membership to access showers or use them at a loved one's home. Sorry but I never discuss employment or finances with anyone. Thanks for watching my vids.
I hope 'n pray all is well fer' you (well...BETTER than back in February this year!). Not tryin' to be nosy, but did you just have an incredibly BAD run of luck to get in the situation you're in (i.e., laid off from work/resources ran out/etc.)...? Eight months later...have things improved for you at all?
I wuz homeless/living out of vehicles twice in my life; back in the mid-80's, and again just 3 years ago...things are somewhat better now...
@TruckJuggler7 I began living in my vehicle while employed. That has nothing to do with it. I also have family members happy to take me in. I don't need them to. I love the freedom and I do not believe in paying for property you never get to own. Thanks for thinking of me.
Jennie from WHERE here and I wanted to thank you for giving us a shout out on your video blog. It sounds like you're quite the traveler, so we're glad WHERE made it on your list. If you have any feedback or would just like to say hi please feel free to email me at jennie [at] where.com Cheers!
