This song is about the need to stop being so selfish by forgetting about children, and to start putting children first. To create a society that places children on the absolute highest level in everything we do, create and build. :)
There's good ol Zakk Wylde, he used to come to our house to play guitar with my brother when he was young, before he was famous. :)
Zakk is cool, he stills remembers my brother too. We go to any Ozzy concert and Zakk will puil me and my brother in backstage to talk to Ozzy and the band. :)
By the way peoples, Ozzy is secretly a Christ lover. :)
Wish I could go back in time to revisit that night. And bring my damn vid recorder! Never imagined we'd get that lucky. Ozz had a radio show that night before the concert on 98 KUPD Phx stn. Was trying to get back in shape and cut back on the sweet leaf. He was very approachable and humble. When all of the other band members showed up, they stood around us and were silent as John talked, but smiled as he said some funny stuff. Zakk was elbow-distance to my rt, clueless about his big future w/ Oz
Will never forget meeting Ozz in 88 after a No Rest for the Wicked concert. Steve and I followed his limo to his Scottsdale hotel. Pulled up in my 72 Monte Carlo right behind him. He got out and I hollered "Hey John." I about passed out as he came over to us! We began talking and a van pulled up with the Anthrax guys, Butler, a nineteen yr-old Zakk Wylde, and Castillo swigging a bottle of Quervo. Surreal. Recall gazing at the O Z Z Y finger tats as he autographed tickets on the hood of my car.
I deeply relate to this video in a profound way. It practically reflects how I feel about a great many things. Immensily poigniant and beautiful. I'm just another dreamer. Peace.
Good job on the high quality video! It's the best one on YouTube. Inspired me enough to share my Ozz-encounter story on your posting. The warmth of the song matches what I believe to be a good person in John Osbourne. Kind of sad, but it's awesome.
Esta musica faz parte da minha vida....me arrepia, me emociona, me inspira! Valeu Ozzy...
