The guy who voices Leonard Dawson sounds like the same guy who does the voice for Professor Nambu in the Gatchaman OVA. The voice of Robert Dawson is Tony Oliver who voiced Rick Hunter in Robotech.
Do you ever learn anything about his targets? I'd like to think they somehow deserve what they get, but I get the feeling they don't, necessarily. If that's true it's really important for the storytelling, because you don't sugarcoat the fact that he's killing people.
Duke Togo doesn't care, but in the comics they're generally more about the targets and the contractors than Golgo 13's actions. Golgo 13 usually comes in towards the end. Sometimes they're a drug dealer or unscrupulous, but it's just as likely that someone wants to get rid of evidence or affect the presidential election.
Puting English dub over this movie tries to whitewash a great Japanese contribution.

The music doesn't quite fit if you ask me...I simply hate Golgo 13/Bond comparisons. I always thought Golgo was cooler. Bond was a British prick.
