So did David Cassidy -- they used to sleep together -- even though she was his step-mom!! And they sometimes had 3-somes with Susan Dey. Well, that's Hollywood for ya.
David Cassidy has always been gorgeous. When the Partridge Family was on back in the 70's, my Dad wouldn't let me watch so I would stay over at a friend's house so we could watch. He was so dreamy. I never liked Danny, he was always mean to "Keith".
OMG ANOTHER one I have been singing all my life! THANK you! This song actually came true in my life. Someone who had me from the second I met him. He always thought he had to keep pulling rabbits out of a hat to impress me, but I adored him just the way he was. I married him. Now he is gone, and I still find myself singing this song and wishing he was back here, no rabbits necessary, but then, they never were.
Yes, and you know what, it is a magical once in a lifetime experience. We were like the thorn birds, it was so euphoric, perfect and just a fairy tale, and then I lost him - he died. I think sometimes those extreme emotions counterbalance each other - nothing so good comes without equally agonizing pain. I wish it wasn't that way, but I knew inside even when it was happening, that is how it would play out someday. We made every minute matter, though, for our little time in heaven.
That is so heartbreaking and at the same time, its beautiful. There are so many people in this world that would love to have had a relationship like this.... Love never dies....
I neglected to look at the 2nd song you had written on the box on the right. Man, what a GREAT surprise to hear "...Always on My Mind" What an awesomme song. I remember being lucky enough to see him (@age 10 or so) & I remember the white fringe-outfit. Couldn't hear much of his singing, due to hysterical girls screaming-but I DO remember him getting tangled up in that thing lol. Priceless video-thx for posting!!
The white fringe outfit from his concert days was good but the later choices of costumes for PF were pretty awful. There's an icky blue one in this clip. It always made me think that Shirley was cutting costs and making them from window curtains!
great combo SumerKis38!

I loved how the radio would play so many of their songs and how their music is still as good today as it was then.

It's a shame people call this music "bubblegum". Sound Magazine is one of my favorite albums.
