  • If something is not done i see the dark depths of despair

    next year 40 cities burn

    predictable

  • What's most amazing about this great interview--BY FAR--is the simple fact that a rational person can speak actual full-length sentences and not be interrupted or edited. MLK was a great man of history, surely one of the greatest Americans, and hopefully an inspiration for our future (?)

  • After sitting in my room watching so many inspirational people talk, it is clear to see that both martin luther king and the rapper Tupac were easily on the same level on thought and action on changing society. It is just so sad to see that Tupacs messages are not heard enough, most likely due to the fact that his words were more 'street wise' and harsh, but he spoke the truth all the same. To all those that admire King, i suggest looking at any of tupacs interviews and see how amazing he was

  • I'm not one to quote people but when he said "darker nights for social disruption" that sounded poetic.

  • "...Peace must not only be a goal that we talk about and seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal." Spot on, Dr.

  • wow. cause and affect. prestine, priceless, 1 single u.s. veteran/citizen of the united states. love pops joshua.

  • this right here is a smart man. People like Amiri Baraka, Malcolm X, and even Al Sharpton cant hold a candle to this man. this man wants peace. This man believes that people are good and bad by what their character is not by what their skin color is. The three men mentioned before label entire races as good or bad people. to me that is sick and Dr. King would greatly oppose them!

    RIP MLK! END HATRED NOW!

  • He navigates those questions like a man navigates his own house.

  • his words soothes the mind of the righteous

  • MY MOMMA SAYS OBAMA!

  • If we take Dr. Kings statements, keep them the same and foward them to today, it still would relate and make sense.

  • I have yet to disagree with anything this man says.

  • Mikes posture is terrible. Martin has him uncomfortble.

  • dear god bring us back martin luther king in return will give u barack obama !!!

  • How long will we kill our Prophets? What happens when they dont come anymore to enlighten us? I think you already know......sad.

  • A man of conscience can never be a consensus leader!

  • Tragically, what Dr. King did not know (COULD not have known ) was that the future republican candidate, Richard Nixon would later come to undertake covert action(s) designed to intentionally & needlessly escalate the bombing (thus significantly prolonging the war) with an eye to winning his candidacy for the presidency. He was able to accomplish these acts via his informal envoy, Henry Kissinger. U MUST all view the.Hitchens documentary about Henry Kissinger here on Youtube for details on this

  • @powervirgin that a wonderful quote; that's for saying that!!!

  • @GodBlesstheGrass: I agree. But look at what is so striking here: unlike O'Reilly and many of his guests, Dr. King's pace of speech is slow and deliberate. Its almost like he really takes the time to thinks about each and every word he articulates. He never interrupts other people, even when they interrupt him (5:26). .

By conducting himself with class and thoughtfulness, its as if he has taken the venom out of the snake's bite.

  • @katyakana An amazing virtue of a real contemporary prophet, I just want to say ...please give us a couple of these men God !! World should be a better place to be for everyone...

  • This is a more repetitive and biased line of questioning than one sees from Bill O'Reilly

  • HE WAS VERY SMART COOL AND HANDSOME!! MAN I WISH I MEET THIS GUY

  • Briliant words from Honorable Martin Luther King Jr.!!!

  • I love your comment, although I would disagree with King accepting his position as a minority (even very unconsciously). I think what is coming through is his humbleness when dealing with tcivil rights, and the very delicate attention he gave a volatile battle . I think he was very thoughtful and many knew many people looked to him for answers. I wasn't alive when he was, but it breaks my heart that he was killed the way he was. He was a beautiful, inspiring human being.

  • Tough questions are respectfully tossed MLK ways, and yet he answers them all truthfully and eloquently.

  • @Arron413 That's why his questions always got tougher. People tried to challenge him, and he always had a very good reply, regardless if certain people refused to hear it. As people all too often do today.

  • they tried... but couldnt shake MLK with their questions... we need another MLK (not politicans)

  • dam he good wit words they couldnt make him look bad on they best day.

  • Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is, and should be, an inspiration to us all. As Americans, as human beings, as conscious, rational beings, he deserves our respect, admiration, and ultimately as a culture, our guilt for not listening to him sooner. I am 20 years old, and never got the chance to personally encounter and experience his greatness of character and ideals, but his teachings and lessons ring true through everything we've experienced since his time, and everything in the world today.

  • so cool to see this! I mean i have really only seen the

i have dream speech or the assassination clips.

  • If he were alive today, with opinions like these, he would not be allowed on American TV. Such a great man.

  • I agree.

  • @ClassicShowbiz if he were alive today they would try to kill him again
