  • Also, when animals are stressed ("unhappy") they show it. Reptiles especially will become sick and die if their needs are not met and they're taken care of improperly. All of my pets (dog, cat, fish, tarantulas and reptiles) do not show abnormal behavior, nor are they ill. Just because it makes *you* feel bad to see an animal in a cage or behind a fence doesn't mean the animal is unhappy, it just means that you are. You're projecting your feelings on the animal.

  • Glad I live in Canada

  • I wanna join BHB in about 10 or 14 years to do my bit for pets every were oh and it's so cool

  • I'm glad this didn't pass, now all these animals happily live in their cages for the rest of their lives.

    /sarcasm

    humans are so selfish.

  • @lovexhater Yep. Many animals are perfectly fine in captivity. My pets are not stressed out and are healthy. They are fine being in cages. Just because it hurts *your* feelings to see them in cages doesn't mean they feel miserable or are unhappy. I have a buch of racoons that live in my old shed and come out at night to eat garbage. I should probably tell them they are being wrong and need to travel miles in search of food and shelter and not stay in one area and be content.

  • @Fleefles This bill was for non native animals, raccoons are native. This bill could have helped out with the big exotic animal trade happening in the US with animals like Lions and Tigers (we have more here in backyard cages than in the wild). These animals usually roams hundreds of miles in the wild, are dangerous, certainly not pets.

Lets be real here, certain exotic animals should not be pets. If you really think your animals are content with cages, let them out and see if they come back.

  • According to your logic, all dogs, horses, cattle, chickens, rabbits, ferrets, etc. are all miserable because they also have to be contained or they will roam, many not coming back (I see lost dog posters all the time while out jogging and postings on CL for lost pets). If an animal leaves an area, it does not mean it is "unhappy." My toddler nephew is not free to go wherever he wants and would wander around outside and not come back if let out, but he is content at home.

  • @lovexhater The raccoon thing was to show that just because animal roam for miles in the wild doesn't mean they do it because they like it. They do it because they have to or they will die. It isn't done for enjoyment, which is why the raccoons in my yard stay there as long as they can get an easy meal and shelter.

  • Did it pass

  • Not my pets

  • Thank the lord this wasn't passed. I never actually heard of it till today, but omg. I want to be a herp vet, or a vet tech for one at lest. I've had hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, and right now I have a bearded dragon and hopeful for a chameleon in the next five years.

@pugdogy I assure you, not everyone has their pets in a small cage their whole lives, all of my pets, and plenty other people were great owners adn dedicated their lives (and still do) to their pets.

  • won't help you I'm all for the bill -- just what every snake or bird or fish needs to spend it's entire life locked up in a small cage/tank,,,Pitiful,,,you like keeping animals like this so much--you take your butt and live in a small cage for life and see how much you enjoy it,,,, pitiful :(

  • Not my cockatiels :(

  • Is this still going on?

  • @nickeftink no

  • The govt. can keep its big nose out ppls pets! We luv our animals, so keep your bills n laws out of pet lovers lives.

  • FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!

  • If snakes are outlawed, only outlaws will have snakes... Sounds like a good way to help screw our economy a little more.

  • did this thing pass?

  • I don't trust my government at all. I heard my government has done very bad things. This is why I don't trust my government.

  • The fish and birds is a BIT far though. Exotic Reptiles and inverts should be outlawed like in aus but thats it

  • This law should go ahead. A similar law has gone ahead in Austalia years ago and we're coping fine. Stop whining, its better than the ecosystem collapsing.

  • and here people thought the politician's madness woud stop with their obsession for banning guns and disarming victims... now theyre after our small animals :(

why is it that they have to make our business and everything we do their business?

  • i own a guinea pig, some fish, and a budgie.... i hope Canada doesn't f** the dog like this....

  • I MAY NOT LIVE IN THE STATES BUT THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH I MEAN TERMINATED! ITS LIKE AN ILLEGAL IMMAGRANT BEING TAKEN OUT OF THE STATES THINKING OF THEIR BABY THAT JUST DIED ITS UNBEARABLE!

  • AND KEEP GIVING PEOPLE WHAT THEY LOVE KEEP UP THE GOOD VIDS SNAKE-BYTES I JUST WITH AUSTRALIA WOULD DO THE SAME SOMEDAY.

thanks mate keep the good work up!

  • IT WONT PASS!!!!! THE U.S MAKES BILLIONS EVERY SINGLE YEAR ON REPTILES ALONE THE PERSON THAT THOUGHT OF THIS BILL IS ONE OF THOSE PUSSY POLITICS THAT WANTS TO MAKE LIFE HARD FOR EVERYBODY ELSE CAUSE HE HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO!!!! the only down side to importing reptiles is when they end up being unwanted and cant be sold they sometimes get realeased into the wild and it can effect the ecosystem alot BUT IF PEOPLE ARE REPSONSABLE! THE U.S CAN KEEP THIS MAJOR BUISNESS

  • wtfff congress has gone to farr there are many many many ppl that love there animals and keep them safe and take good care off them if they make me get rid of my babies there will be a problem

  • Liberals (Democrats)

That's all you need to know.

They "think" they know how to run your life better than you.

  • @maishiranui33 uhm..hi. im a democrat. but i love reptiles. i have 2 snakes and a lot of other reptiles. not all demmocrats are like that.. be careful what u say, when u dont know the facts

  • @wellsieboy1212 Well, if you're a fan of personal freedom and choice i'm not sure why you would side with a party that does everything in thir power to take them away from you, and that IS a fact. I'm not saying republicans are perfect, but they do prefer the idea of "help yourself", not "let the government do it for you".

Liberals are blind to the fact that social programs and more regualtions only hurt our country, and make you a slave. Government doesn't create weath, it confiscates it.

  • @maishiranui33 lmao i was born a democrat. im 14. to tell u the truth our family really isnt into politics at all. were just democrats i guess..i really dont care what i am. politicial parties are just another way for humans to "feel like there a part of something". humans are all bullshit. thts why i would choose reptiles over humans anytime

  • @wellsieboy1212 That's fine if you're not in to politics at 14, most teens aren't, I wasn't. But choosing a party is more than just a feeling like you belong in a group. People will get into office and make new laws and chage old ones whether you're active in politics or not.

The reason it's important to stand for something is beacuse when individuals try to pass laws like the one in this video, you'll be ready to stop them. If you aren't, then they can take freedoms like this away from you.

  • @maishiranui33 like those republican f***ers are any god-damn better, the republicans motto is probably something like this: Republicans, hating on gays, non-Christians, African Americans, women and anyone who has a single better idea then: FOOTBALL! SHOOTING SHOTGUNS! KILLING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!

  • @infinityperson Nothing you said is actually ture about Republicans or conservatives. I doubt you follow any political issues in real time or even know the name of your local mayor.

You've probably heard bad things said about Republicans most of your life, and repeat what you hear without doing 5min of actual research.

I'm guessing you hate Sarah Palin, or at least think she's stupid? Do you even know why you think that?

Democrats love people like you because you're easy to manipulate.

  • @infinityperson P.S. I hate football, I don't own a gun of any kind, and I don't think we should kill illegal immigrants; I believe they should be deported because they broke the law, end of argument.

What do you think China or Mexico does with illegal immigrants?

  • and dogs too

  • and dogs to

  • Americans is so crasy:) Obama land is socialist land yes?

  • @hubertgreen this was before obama was president

  • Did they pass the law :(

  • this is why i dont live in the us

  • no offence i think hr669 is the most ridiciouls idea ever in history thank god my coutry dosent have the bill there busy with other stuff like illigal animals exportin reply what do u think or comment on my channel

  • Take a look at that long hallway of boxes. Cages, boxes, aquariums, are little prisons for wild creatures that belong in the wild. Such human greed and selfishness is tragic for those creatures that suffer so you can have your entertainment. Most captive reptiles, fish, and birds live devastating lives and die prematurely. The average person doesn't properly care for them, or bother to learn, even if such captivity was moral.

  • when i type in the website the site is about dating singles! are you sure that is the site ?

  • which ever MP sugested the bil is a ______(fill in the blank) we all <3 are pets thumbs up if you agree!

  • which ever MP sugested the bil is a ______(fill in the blank)

  • does this effect other countries?

  • I have european leeches for pets:( and angelfish.

  • i love my pets :(

  • Introduced by "Madeleine Bordallo " a DEMOCRAT. surprise surprise.

  • its good that this did not pass.the bad part is petco and petsmart can still selll animals=(

  • @CrestedBoa Think about it this way. If the pet stores could not sell the animals to happy pet owners, there would have been no need to go against the bill as no one would own a pet, thus, it would have been approved. :)

Unless theres some dark secrets that someone not from US wouldn't know about these pet stores.

  • does the Government know that our economy is already going down

PETS=TAX MONEY and what happen to freedom

  • Please ban all animal sales. There is way too much animal neglect going on.

  • @themalina92 and what about people who LOVE their animals and work at wild life shelters like myself?? I save as many strays as I can and rehome. Plus AZ has free spay and nueter clinics. I say the bill is WRONG! don't punish all for a few bad owners.

  • thats really gutting for you guys in the us!

with all the reptiles i breed i would be screwed!

    has the bill passed yet?

  • this is communist. the goverment has no right to tell us what animals we can have and take them away from respnsible pet owners. plus this would also make many animals extinct that are already in dangered. it's like in china you can only have one child this goverment is only thinking of bias, and if they acually knew a little about these animals they would understand how stupid this is,

  • @afre13 yea if they knew friking 3rd grade social studies(The pepole have more power than the goverment)they would use their brains and kill the bill

  • @afre13 Well the people that release their over grown pets is the problem. look at Fla, BE PET RESPONSIBLE = OR LOSE RIGHTS TO OWN

  • @cutlass881 it's not fair or right for the rest of us that love our pets as family members. I would NEVER release any of my animals! I can't imagine my life without them:(

  • Comment removed

  • There is a law in Ontario Canada that is just the opposite. No native species can be kept as pets(Animals that live in Canada outside Ontario can be kept as pets). This may be because many of Canada's birds reptiles and amphibians live in the most populated parts and are threatened by human population growth. Non venomous exotics are welcome!

  • The system we created is the responsible for all the animal cruelty. And equal money system will stop this and allow all beings to live together in equality. If you want to help out please check my channel description. People who REALLy want to end abuse once and for all, and adress the CORE of the issue, dont hesitate, dont wait, the change is here! and it is us.

  • @SpamAnn That sounds an awful lot like communism, hun. They tried it out over in Russia and it didn't quite work out unless you haven't heard already. That form of government leaves just as much room for tyranny as capitalism. Go research Joseph Stalin.

  • @85justus : I am part of the people that started to work on this idea and it is nothing like communism. Communism was totally fucked up, did not do whats best for all at all. It had some on the top and othrs on the bottom.

  • @SpamAnn So you think Shaniqua working at McDonalds should make the same salary as I do with my four year degree? Where is the incentive to better myself if it makes no difference in my quality of life? I think it is a good intentioned idea that just doesn't work right now and probably never will.

  • is this over?

  • @66Fallout66Man66 The bill is not over. It's through committee so now it has to be revised and then put to vote. It's not high on the list of priorities in the house right now, but the bill is NOT dead.

  • ok Im going to say something that is bound to get people mad

this bill should not be passed! all this crap about invasive species is just so people can get their way >:[ I don't want my precious speedy taken away! I'd kill anyone who tried!! we have a right to keep our pets!! if you support this bill just dont own any of those animals [your an idiot anyways] I know they're trying to help prevent people from causing damage to the ecosystem by releasing pets but WE LOVE OUR PETS WE KEEP THEM

  • I smell peta >:(

  • While i understand that this is your bread and butter and how you like exotic animals this industry has helped cause a problem with invasive species and doesnt do anything to help with that problem. And you want to ship in from other countries more of the same. Maybe because your young you dont see the big picture here This problem has been growing for alot years and something needs done about it.

  • excuse me, while i understand what your saying theres a invasive species problem thats been growing and growing for years. And we're not talking dogs and cats here, they are as native here to this country as we are. What about the irresponsible pet owners that turn these animals loose or let them get away into the wilds. Now what are you doing to help the problem of invasive species, say like the everglades.

  • @The5thAveMonster Only Native Americans are native to North America, all other ethnic groups of people are technically invasive and so far have caused massive damage to North American eco systems. Native Americans did a good job in keeping America in balance, but when other ethnic groups came in, thats when the problems started. Dogs and Cats are just as bad, they doomed species to extinction in the past and are endangering native animals here today.

  • haha if this happens sucks to be in america......

  • There is ZERO need to ban these snakes. Dogs kill 700 people a year in the US, and snakes maybe kill 10-15. Maybe we should get rid of dogs instead? You know, because they kill WAY more people than snakes? Oh and maybe we should get rid of cats too, because they cause rabies, and kill people every year, dogs do the same thing.

Guess what? You people LOSE! This bill is NOT going to pass, I don't keeo any animal on the list but tons of other people do, and their jobs and lives depend on it.

  • @repticman123

we're not talking about the loss of human life here. we're talking about major ecosystems.

  • @delikedi17 I don't remember what my comment said, so, yea.

This bill should not be passed. And it won't because the reptile industry is too big, and makes too much money for it to just suddenly stop.

  • @repticman123 I hate dogs I love reptiles

  • @repticman123 No. Dogs should not get banned. If dogs get banned I'm pretty sure most people in the US will move to another country. Dogs are only bad because of their owners. ALL dogs that cause deaths have bad owners that provide poor upbringing. This bill is ridiculous. But this bill couldn't ban dogs, because dogs come from gray wolves, which is from America and most places worldwide. Unless it is nonnative bill. This bill is a complete patent nonsense.

  • @repticman123 I meant nonnative breed.

  • @repticman123 I have a dog and a snake :(

  • does snake make global warming or econmic crisis?

    =_=

  • @SOEii2 no but congress is being stupid -_-

  • omg this is so frikken stupid!?! wat idiot made up this bill!?! ALL my family has atleast 1 pet, my family is an animal loving type of family. if this passed, my gawd, i wud totaly want 2 kill the idiot who made this bill.

  • we've come along way

  • I cant say that i totally disagre with this bill. I cant tell you how many animals i see such as these guineapigs and hamster, etc that come into the shelter, infested with maggots, fleas, dying, already dead, from extremw heat or cold, because people get animals just to get them without knowing how to properly taking care of them. It quite sad really, and i think this may prevent alot of these cases

  • @taintedlove469 dude this has been over for about a year now but theres a new bill banning big snakes

  • Pet co is one of the world most known and proven animal abusers if anything it there fault people fault for abusing these animals

  • i support this ban

  • @delikedi17 Wait till they come for your bearded dragons.

  • I support it once they revise it to banning only nonnative invasive species that are detrimental to the native environment and wildlife, such as the Burmese pythons (due to irresponsible breeders & owners!). I live in the Everglades and I've witnessed pythons being killed one by one everyday by FWCC officers. You think it's fair to these beautiful innocent creatures to be shot to death? The only sure way to prevent this tragedy from happening is to ban the ownership of any Burmese pythons.

  • @delikedi17 yes but what if there is a dedicated and responsible owner who has the income and will to take care of these animals and keep them safe and happy? they shouldn't be banned completely,i think you should just have to have a license or something.

  • @delikedi17 If you do your research you will find that the so-called "detrimental invasive species" the burmese pythons found in the Everglades, have already been nearly wiped out by a cold spell, from what i've seen lately there haven't been any recent burmese findings, in the past few months, the problem took care of itself. Instead of a ban on these animals, why not make it a requirement to have them PIT tagged so the irresponsible owners could be tracked down?

  • @DRAGON76

If you do YOUR research you will find that the cold spell has NOT wiped out the pythons. I live here and i am involved with the FWCC. How about not having exotics here in the first place? The problem lies in mass breeding and exporting these animals overseas where they don't belong.

  • @delikedi17 Banning all exotics is not going to solve your problems, the problem here is with the lack of regulation on certain species, Believe me I am all for keeping invasive species out of the wild, i understand they can completely ruin an ecosystem, but once again, things should be regulated, not all out banned. It's a slippery slope you can fall into when you let the Government decide it's ok to just Ban something, where does it stop? should we ban domesticated Cats, and Dogs as well?

  • @DRAGON76 If we were to follow this logic rationally instead of emotionally then cats & dogs should be the first two invasive species to see bans. They do far more damage to our eco systems than any other type of pet, and I would bet dollars to donuts that the amount of pple killed or severely injured by dogs ea yr makes the amount killed or seriously injured by snakes so unremarkable to be unworth mention. The only reason why the feds won't ban cats or dogs is b/c it would enrage the voters

  • @DRAGON76 well said!!

  • YOU ARE STUPID!

  • I;m so glad I dont live in the US. Ive never heard of anything so ridiculous

  • @hadesmanes87 Does the UK parliament not have a period of time when new laws/bills are proposed? MANY MANY bills are proposed and re-proposed thoughout the years, but most (and I mean like 90%) never actually become law.

I'm quite sick of snoddy comments from europeans who don't like America...

  • @maishiranui33 WTF who said I didnt like America!! How is that SNODDY?! Get your facts right instead of makin assumptions!! How does Im glad I dont have to live in America and be affected by this bill mean I dislike americans you idiot!!!

It just means that i dont have to affect by such a ridiculous bill as an animal lover and im glad im not affected!!!

  • @maishiranui33 and no I believe the UK parliament havnt put a bill like this one forward! how would I know? well I work in the animal care industry, and it is part of my job to be aware of laws and legislations put into place and of any Bills that may affect my line of work!! Not only that but a Bill like this one is a controversial subject and pretty much everyone would know about it!! Its snoddy at all but I dont want my rights as an owner and lover to be affected!! and im glad it isnt!!

  • @hadesmanes87 I think you missed my point, I don't agree with this bill, but it was only proposed, and never actually passed. It was turned down in Congress, almost immediately.

The fact is, a bill like this may have been proposed in UK parliament, but you just didn't hear about it (like you said).

Therefore, saying you're glad you don't live in America because stuff like this can be proposed, when it probably has already been proposed in the UK, is ignorant.

  • @maishiranui33 I think you need to be careful with what your saying. Im not bein ignorant with what im saying, but you were originally try to say that my comment was "SNODDY" and that I dislike America, your missing the point. Im trying to say to you that what i had originally said had nothing to do with my feelins towards America.

  • Im so glad I dont live in US. this is the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard!!!

  • I love animals. Fuck people who hurt animals. Mother fuckers.

  • This bill would ruin ownership for pets everywhere. I have a beta fish and a hamster and it would effect me. This is ridcoulss. I bet these assholes who wanted this bill to pass don't want animals as pet itienraly

  • Last of all, if pet stores stopped selling live animals, people would then have to seek out other sources such as reputable breeders (most pet stores get their animals either from mills who breed in mass with no regard to health or temperament, or local irreputable or amateur breeders who have little idea what they're doing), and rescues or animal shelters. I see nothing wrong with that.

  • @CMTurducken

    Cont.. Until something sticks.

  • Pet stores and mill breeders are notorious for keeping their animals in horrible conditions and selling sick pets. I see this on a very regular basis across my state and the next state over alone. They encourage impulse buys. As someone who works in exotic animal rescue, supports REPUTABLE animal breeders, I would see no problem with pet stores being barred from selling live animals.

  • @CMTurducken

Yeah nothing like taking more rights away from individuals under the guise of compassion. Hey, I know lets lock all of us up in little bubbles to protect ourselves and save the world from us. So, let us continue taking away rights. First no retail stores. Do you really think it will stop there? No! there is a larger agenda here. You think if they got this through they wouldn't go after the breeders next? They already are on many fronts. They will keep putting forth bill after bill.

  • @Herps1 Sorry but last I checked it wasn't in anyone's constitutional right to breed exotic or even animals for profit (what pet stores and back yard breeders are doing); it's not even a "right" given to us to even own exotic animals. Consider yourself lucky they aren't putting a ban on them, period. I see nothing wrong with them cracking down on the exotic animal equivilants to puppy mills, which is where most pet store animals originally come from.

  • @CMTurducken

No, see that is where you are very wrong. It is my right to pursue happiness and be left alone. It is nobodies business what I raise, breed, or sell. It might be fine with you and some to accept more and more interference in your daily lives but I don't. If your not hurting anyone else and you respect and care for you animals, it's nobodies business. I don't need to be regulated. I don't need to be told what animals to raise, what crops to grow. It's tyrannical control. No more.

  • @Herps1 Granted it is one's right to pursue happiness, IF they aren't putting other lives at risk. But when the pursuit of happiness infringes on the rights of other people, or violates animal welfare legal stances that's when things become shady. Nowhere in the constitution does it state that people have the right to breed, sell, or trade "exotic" animals. Breeding DOES need to be monitored due to pet mills which are a huge source of animal welfare AND human health violations.

  • @CMTurducken I think that most "keepers" and Breeders would agree that some sort of monitoring is needed, but an all out ban is just ridiculous, in most cases these animals are kept in prime conditions and live longer and healthier lives than those animals found in the wild (parasite free, monitored temps etc.), I am an animal lover as much or more than the next guy, but to put a non-specific all out ban on exotics is not the right way to take care of the problem.

  • If anyone who actually bothered to read the bill, domesticated animals such as fish, domestic reptiles, guinea pigs, domestic bird species, etc will NOT be affected by this bill. At least since the last update of the bill.

  • @CMTurducken

Tropical fish, parrots, snakes, lizards, turtles, etc. are not considered domesticated animals. The only animals I believe that were on the approved list were cats, dogs, farm livestock (horses, pigs, cows, chickens, etc.) and gold fish. They were going to wait until the bill passed before adding anymore approved animals.

Also, raising animals in poor conditions is already illegal. They should enforce current laws instead of making stupid new ones.

  • @Fleefles Actually not all states have laws that require pet stores to keep animals in good conditions. I know because I see it all the time in my state and despite animal groups pushing for it to be law it isn't in numerous states. Some dogs are protected by anti-puppy mill bills, but in many states not animals that aren't dogs/puppies. I have no problem in many cases with reputable animal breeders but most pet stores encourage impulse buys and buy from places that have horrible conditions.

  • its almost been a year since this video....what happened to the bill?

  • @tomcatpilot13

It didn't pass, but our government and animal rights lobbyists are hard at work pushing new animal bans. There's the current python ban that may pass, and there's a frog one in the works.

  • We can have animals if we want

  • Omf i love animals i dont want them to go!

  • since dogs and cats, cows, pigs, horses. ect are not native to the US..... would they be targeted too?

  • @Noslvation

Nope. Even though cats are the #1 most invasive pet and dogs are the #1 pet when it comes to harming humans, they didn't bother adding pet dogs and cats because too many people own them. Its easier to target exotic pet owners and make them out to be weird creepy people who abuse animals and let them loose to ruin the environment and eat children.

  • this is horriable I love pets thats my life native specease are boreing all the cool pets come from other places that is the most rediculas thing I have heard

  • losing any right is a serous blow to the gut, as they all add up until eventually you have no rights whatsoever. this bill didnt pass this time, but im sure it will start up again.

  • I think hr669 Is the most stupidest thing ever What is the point in it ?

  • this is fuckin dump thank god this didnt happen im not lettin nobody touch my reptiles

  • hey this was like back in april i remember but was it passed or not and i heard there's a new similar bill

  • What a stupid law! Does this affect Canada?

  • Is this US only? Im in the UK but ive sent an email using my uncles zip whos in new york so yeh, they can bugger off.

  • Rediculous. Utterly psyco. I read an article on it in Reptiles. Honestly, no one's taking my rats or dog or any other pets away.

  • Okay, first of all, you all need to actually read the bill. Species that are already domesticated are exempt from regulation. YOU CAN KEEP YOUR PETS PEOPLE. Don't get fooled by advocates for "pets" that use hyperbolic tactics to discredit regulatory legislation. this is about destructive, invasive species - predators, extreme r-selected aquatics (i.e. zebra mussels), disease-vectors, voracious herbivores - that can escape, live on their own and cause severe damage to U.S. biota.

  • Also, the whole bit about not being able to take your pet with you between states is nonsense.

  • @mymagic11 Thats totally not right! It's just crossing a line of dirt. Whats wrong with crossing to another state with your lizard??

  • theres nothing wrong with that....that's what im trying to say....the bill doesn't prevent pet owners from moving between states with their animals.

  • The terms they use to describe for "domestic" in the bill is very unspecific. That means they can say anything that isn't native isn't "domesticated" enough to keep, and may add those to the list at anytime.

  • no pets will be taken away from their owners. like i stated in my original comment, this is about destructive, invasive species. a species that has clearly become domesticated and has proven to not be harmful to native species are exempt from regulation! i would TOTALLY be against any bill that threatened a person's ownership over their pet, but this isn't the case for this bill.

  • They should rename it

    PK666

    (pet kill)

  • CAptive bread... what is the problem with CAPTIVE BREAD!!! what the hell!!! they cant put them in the while. so that means they would take my leos and kill them.... RRRR...

  • did this pass

  • @lizardboy7 It's been over a year, and nothing has been effected, so I'm guessing it didn't pass.

AND THANK THE LORD FOR THAT! Because the government isn't taking my leos away!

  • yes it didn't pass but now they are banning snakes instead. I think they are getting rid of snakes first and then they will go to turtles, then lizards then mabye bird and fish and mammals

  • I been fighting this Bill for a Long time. Due to this Bill I got a beaded Dragon that I wanted.

  • This bill is Killing Allah's Creations.

  • k ki kil kill kill t kill th kill the kill the b kill the bi kill the bil kill the bill
  • Comment removed

  • I wonder if the dim-wits of PETA are responsible for even thinking up this bill??

  • Ugh! Probably!

  • does anybody know if that bill has been tossed away or are they still talking about it?

  • im pretty sure any small animal includes amphibians and arthropods.

  • it is yust for usa ?

  • that will also be banned

  • lol nah they cant find them there to small

  • im a about 98 percent sure that this bill got rejected

  • fUCk HR669.!!

  • Amen

  • This is the re-edited bill that is being referred to. The idea is that they will let all non-allowed pets to die off, with out being replaced. If the animal breeds, they and their offspring will be destroyed. This is all for real- and yes, they can do it. Maine can't have gold fish. The states have already done their own limitations.

  • Great video. This is so typical of the government whether it deals with people or animals. They're amazingly adept at gaining control and screwing things up in the name of helping out. They've just gone wild,- period.

  • I have one question what to they want to do with all the pets that are already here confinscate them and put them down I'm sure groups like PETA would just "love" that . Can you imagine all the man hours spent by cops tracking down innocent pet owners while drug dealers, rapists and pedophiles walked free?

  • Ok I own several exotic birds from parakeets to two Quaker parrots. All my birds were hand fed babies raised in captivity and are very loving pets. My birds are no danger to anyone having been regularly held by children as young as two. I owned birds for years now starting with two parakeets when I was 17 I'm 32 now. I've bought larger than required cages, special foods and toys, they have free time out of the cage to fly around and socialize with my family so tell me again what am I doing wrong
