The company is vicariously liable for the conduct of their employees, and if the company gets sued for one of their employees being a twat, they can cover their arse saying that they 'were responsible' by sending him to the appropriate training, shifting the onus away from the company and onto the employee. They couldn't give a shit about the employee's views, all they care about is not getting sued.
