  • has the camera problems and stuff with the incredible since then been fixed now that froyo is out?

  • captivates camera is much better.

  • captivate right quiiick

  • Excellent review. very well put together. The captivate is awesome but I think Im gonna get the Incredible...especially cause its now FREE on best buy. Im coming from an HTC Hero 2.1..so the transition isnt a problem. Its basically my Hero on steroids haha!

  • FYI for anyone considering these models like I am. Here we are late in November and MANY Captivate users still have the same GPS issues, despite Samsung releasing a "fix" months ago. Also there seems to be an issue with Samsung releasing Android 2.2 for the Captivate(but if you root the phone you can put it on yourself). Alot of people seem to complain of the Captivate crashing as well.

  • yeah is a very good review excellent! GOOD JOB!

i'm from paraguay thats why my inglish is sow bad!

  • EXCELLENT REVIEW, please continue to make reviews in the future.

  • Holy cow, this is definitely the best review and comparison I have EVER seen. You talked about the audio processors, and you even used some software to show us the comparisons in photos. Phenomenal review, really was.

  • I have no idea what the deal was. It had permanent smudge marks where my fingers mainly navigating (center of screen). At first I thought they were just "smudge" marks, but after trying to clean them with a soft cloth I realized they were permanent marks. No such problem with prior Samsung Eternity or current HTC incredible. My wife and I are still loving the HTC Incredible. Best phone we've ever had. PC interface is perfect.

  • This guy has no clue, or he works for Samsung...? My wife and I went out and bought the Captivate after viewing this video (We have the Incredible also). We kept the Captivate for a total of 4 days. It was a complete piece of junk compared to the Incredible. Cheap, cheap, cheap. The screen starting wearing within 3 days. It would hang up navigating from screen to screen. The incredible is solid and has fluid navigating. Internet is 10 times better on Incredible. Living in L.A. area.

  • @huskynox1 To each his own. What do you mean by screen "wearing" though? Did you get burn in or fade?

  • These comparisons are excellent, best review/comparisons I have seen for any phone, so in depth, s'what I like to see =].

  • WoW! such a indepth comparison ,you just made sites like Cnet and Engadget look like a joke, can you do a similar comparison with the iPhone 4 it would be much appreciated.

  • @tarunrad 100 % agree. From the other dedicated sites you learn nothing more that you could learn just by reading the specs on a phone

  • seemed more like a samsung galaxy review and a bunch of flaws of the incredible. kinda weird to put a smart phone out in 2010 without a flash. everyone knocked the iphone for years for this. looks pretty good though. nice review.

  • @roseventyfour but the night mode on it is quite capable sometimes better than a LED flash
