hello good afternoon, put captions on their videos, it is easier to people from other countries to learn and understand the videos. Thank you. Eder Rio de Janeiro
@bridgegood oh you so silly. the ammount of water it shoots out is absolutely tiny compared to the ammount of water you use to shower every day or wash your hands?
@WWWeres the primary water pressure is "reduced" by the material thats being routed or cut. Therefore, the secondary water pressure that penetrated thru the material does not have the initual pressure strength to cut or damage the table surface underneath.
Imagen that u end up in desert without water only the water of water jet ... & u can't take it out from machine other than the pointed place .... man this is great situation =P
i want to see this in the movie "Saw" 5,6, whatever part they are on, this would be so badass in saw, you are going to die because of water it wount drown you but cut through you like a hot machete through butter.
@TheBetterGame They are usually a ceramic I believe but yes they do wear out. The table you cut your work piece on and the nozzle are the only real sources of wear and maintenance.
@ducaticrusher not a problem at all because engineers can place the cutter right on top of the materials that need to be cut. most important thing is that this is a green technology.
@ducaticrusher yeah now they even have a new enhancement on that device called the 5-axis waterjet cutter which can move in 5 directions: left/right, back/forth, up/down, angle from perpendicular and rotation around the z-axis. it can be used to cut complex shapes that's really cool. waterjet is capable of cutting materials over 45cm thick, which means the nozzle still can cut things even at a distance like that.
@zx169 for some things yeah. The stream degrades with thicker material, so if you cut 1/4" material it will be dead nuts, if you cut 2" material it will be exact on the top but maybe a +/- 1/32 on the bottom side.
@PAPADRED What the fuck are you talking about man, I have no idea what point you're trying to make, if you even trying to make a point. Please don't respond, this is going no where. XAXAXAXAXAXAXAXAXA? Right, is that how it's done xaxaxa??? Fool......
you prefer loling??? you are begging me to stop?? come on... i just feed the troll who respont to a msg refering to another person... yes... i mean you! xaxa
@Vic3D No... I don't think human flesh can withstands 900mph water flow + abrasive carbide material without separation... and usually separation means finger cut off.
he said "essentially" turns the water into a laser meaning it cuts just as effectively as a laser..not literally as in the water somehow transforms into light...much less a laser beam..
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER BUT I LOVE MY MOM AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours this video is amazing
the water isn't wasted, it is recovered (filtered and re-used in this close circle system) because of filtering you get the metal back that is cut out by the water and to recover the granulates if used... Greetings from Austria
Ok well if you pointed this thing up, without air friction, it would go 8km, but with air friction, my friend calculated, it would go about 21m high.

@poyt46 I guess so. But you would probably have to get extremely close. So I would rather prefer a rocket launcher.

@zx169 well a water jet isnt as presice when in a further distance while the laser is still presice in a far distance.
