  • James 3:15 (NIV) Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil.

  • Interesting! How can I educate myself more on the Wicca belief?

  • i love witches, well wiccans. There usually eco friendly, nice people and are usually very tolerant of other religions. unlike christians

  • @aquament That's pretty narrow-minded too!

  • @goldfarbs yeah i know, i just dont like christians, and i do like non human things(nature, animals, fish, ect)

  • @goldfarbs but it is basically true! ;)

  • lol. it's just funny, cause think if everyone was a wiccan, and they were broadcasting a report on "there are christians among us!" heh.

  • Not half bad for fox news

  • Wicca seems to be the roots of druidism and, indirectly, is also a practice that natives have used everywhere. Also, it's true about spirits coming around more around halloween. For some odd reason.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 Actually it's not the roots of Druidism, Druidism is the main roots of certain Celtic Wicca variances. The reason for a more active spiritual influence at Halloween, is due to the thinning of the veil (the boundary between the physical and the spiritual).

Also, Fox news is biased and lies. That's just fact. They won a lawsuit against them where the court ruled News doesn't have to be truth.

Proud Witch for approx 13 yrs

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 wicca is (basically) the revival of ancient religion. all ancient religions are, in one way or another, relative to "nature energy". that's everything from sumerian mythology to norse and native american mythology. although most forms of modern witchcraft believe in a universal energy, some wiccans merge paths of magic to create something original. for example: personally, i'm wiccan but i'm also on the path of druidry and druidic shamanism.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 also, the reason spirits are most active around october 31st is because it's the end of the (wiccan) year. it's also one of our 8 holidays (called sabbats). october 31st is called samhain. it's the day we pay respect to our lost loved ones, ancestors and the like. we are remembering the spirits which keeps them active, even after death (some say that is the reason for hauntings). wiccans can "tap" into this energy, making it the most powerful day of the year.

  • They make witchcraft sound stupid, and make believe.

    Im wiccan.

    It is a real religion.

We are not crazy, we should have the same religious rights everyone else does. The media just doesnt know that yet.

  • @Vocaloid1010 it is make believe...its dress up and the reason no one takes it serious is because of its absurd claims! u have no continuity to old European pre christian traditions..NONE! ur claims are as absurd as the abrahamites.. this is why it appears stupid..do yourself a favor take your ass to a traditional Hindu Mandir watch how they perform their ritual the "PUJA" and take notes you are witnessing the worlds oldest on going tradition. Europe's religions have its origins in INDIA...

  • @illuminatiperspectiv I've been to several Pujas. Very powerful indeed!

  • What's up with the ignorant comments about fox? You are just as biased as you are saying they are! By the way, I'm a witch, but I'm so dismayed by how many claiming to be are just fat losers on government assistance.

  • @califgirlsd It's called empirical evidence. Fox News is biased and you are a bigot.

  • bigots

  • *sigh, face palm* witchcraft is not a belief/religion it is a practice, wicca on the other hand is a belief/religion. Come on Bob research a little!

  • *sigh* Fox News...

  • wow...a real life witch!!! oh brother ~ these people need to get out more :/

  • People, this isn't Fox News Channel. THEY would be the ones to go crazy and start insulting us. Fox local stations are pretty fair.

  • This was surprisingly accepting considering fox is usually incredibly biased.

  • Holy cow. This sounds like it was produced back in the late 1980s. Do they still make crappy news stories about us like this nowadays? I thought we had come farther than that.

  • hm i don't like those skulls at her altar :/

  • @kickoke They might represent Earth to her. :)

  • @kickoke They are not used for the purposes you are probably thinking of. I know a bunch of people who get really touchy around them, but since you seem to be a different person than the typical fanatical christian, I shall tell you what they are used for. Skulls are used mainly for divination, since Pagans believe that the skull 'houses' spirit. It has NOTHING to do with animal sacrifice or 'devil' worship. Pagans don't believe in that bogus.

  • @kickoke you should see mine LOL its on my videos.

  • Oh yeah like it's SOOO shocking that there are REAL Witches...Right here among us! Ohh wowww it's such a shocking thing...Dude these people are so ignorant and oblivious! Well it's good that they made a newscast about the truth...

  • @GoddessOfThree :) Agreed! Wait until they find out that their next-door neighbor might be a Witch! :) - Yeesh. christians are so slow to understand things.

  • This could probably be worse...

  • Cool

  • Asatru here, and I seriously feel sorry for this woman and I'm one to not really like wiccans. This poor woman...

  • I LOVE THIS! Let the Witches speak! And I mean the real Witches who have been of the craft their entire life and just didn't recently pick it up because they thought it was cool to be a Witch. So Mote It Be.

  • I can't even imagine how much courage it must have taken Rita Morgan to talk to the news reporters like that....just hearing his condescending and mocking tone of voice and how they focused on the parts that most people without the proper education would consider "bad" like the athame and the skull--they just wanted to make fun of us and mark us as dangerous--all that makes me want to cry.

  • @retawolf2 I did not like the mocking tone he did like as if we're little children.witches are real and beautiful individuals who want nothing but peace.

  • One thing I liked about this is they didn't end the piece with some extremest type of christian ripping on Wicca calling it satanic and what not... I've been wearing a pentacle necklace in Utah County for over 7 months now and haven't really gotten much flack for it... It's been a pleasant surprise...

  • People get so freaked out when they hear the word witch, they act like it's surreal to come across a REAL witch.

  • They focus on all the bad aspects.. but would they ever focus on the death of masses in the bible?

  • @strangerpenguin Oh no...couldn't do that! Then people might actually understand about Wicca and Witchcraft.

Sad truth is that neither of them are publicly accepted in America. And no christian wants to admit that their early religion was out of control. Not only did they mass-murder Pagans, but Jews and Muslims.

    Despicable.

  • WOW

  • I loved how they focused on the creepiest aspects of Wicca. The skull, the bony hands, etc. "Most major religions have yet to formally acknowledge witchcraft." Trying to downplay a system of belief. One which believes "An it harm none, do what ye will." You can't expect much "news" when you watch anyway. They will always set the tone in a way to downplay those who they do not agree with.

  • I don't like the way the news people say things. Like, "ho ho ho, look at these 'witches' doing their crazy shit." >.> Fox News 'R Evil...

  • Yes! I've meet her (witch being interviewed). She's so awesome. I love going to her store, her store was where the 2011 Pagan Pride Day was held. It was great, love going to talk with her she's got a way with explaining Paganism to not-so-opened-minded people

  • Hmm, from what I've learned, many witches of most paths happen to keep their craft in the darkness to everyone else to keep their power charged, I wonder why every witch who was on TV wears black and has a skull......

  • I love how many times and how they say that dreaded word 'witches'! By the way this comment is satirical and I am a wiccan.

  • Yep, I'm a Witch. Deal with it. <]:-)

  • This actually wasn't bad.

  • I love the witches I've met in Utah thusfar! So many warm and welcoming people with fantastic energy :) :)

  • I liked this video

  • yes, when i was on the news many moons ago, they kept filimg my skull....i was like its for med school jackasses.i never said that but was thinking it

  • Yes, Bob Evans does have a tone of "impending doom" in his voice!

  • typical biased fox news cast

  • Actually, I thought it was pretty fair CONSIDERING it was FOX.

  • It wasn't as bad as I might have expected.

However, I think it's still pretty clear that they're using scare tactics. For example where they say "there your friends, nieghbours, etc" that 2 me sounds like its supposed to creep u out. I think just generally you can see bias in what they have chosen to include and the wording they have used which generally is similar to the example I gave.

That said, considering it is fox, it wasn't as bad as I have come to expect from them.

  • @goldfarbs Their local news is not as biased as FNC
