@masterarmo It's not "selfish" - there is no such thing at this level. If you can score reliably, you score. If one player scores 100% of the time, he gets the ball 100% of the time and his team mates are all happy.

However, I don't think this is a good play. If you can make a perfect pass on the free ball, you get 3 hitters each faced with only one block then the chances of scoring are higher. I'm surprised the blockers didn't go up on him, I'm sure they would if he ever tried it again.
