  • @coleridgemanan What you saw on the video has been done on people of all nationalities with equal frequency. If you enjoyed the video please press the LIKE button

  • i don't know how some people can go on without cleaning their ears.

  • @galenwolf Great . If you enjoyed my video please press the LIKE button

  • There is an identical video from the same patient from myself (TravellerJ) which shows the wax coming out. Search youtube with the words: removing wax jet propulsing device. And don't forget to press LIKE if you like it

  • This video is pointless without a shot of the aftermath! Show us the gunk, man.

  • I did that exact thing once. It feels like a deep ear massage. I recommend it to anyone with an ear wax problem. All you hear are bubbles. :3

  • I once pulled a ham and cheese sandwich from my ear, wonder why I couldnt hear

  • im 14 years old with a bad case of anxiety,i have a wax buildup in my left ear, it feels clogged and i have muffled hearing out of it, i have tried squirting water in my ear using a syringe but it gives me a stronger clogged feeling and decreases my hearing even more, this is temporary only while the water is squirt is still in though, i have tried ear drops 2 a night for a few days, im not sure if they are helping but its really hard for me to get through with anxiety, what do you recomend i do

  • @BobizEpic let your doctor deal with it.

  • @TravellerJ what will he do? last time this happened was about a month ago, my dad did the squirt for me, alot harder then i would do it, but it worked becuz the feeling went away and a bit later the wax was close enough i dug it out with my figers, but i think this wax was behind that which i got out, but anyways, if i visit a doctor what would they do to me? i would hope a more comforting action instead of fluid..

  • @BobizEpic Take a small caliber gun like a 9mm and put it just inside your ear, not too far....Now pull the trigger. Peace be the J

  • @BobizEpic Some people caution against it, but I had great luck with a simple water pick from Wal-mart. I had a friend do it and the results were fantastic. you can see it in action at "impacted ear wax extraction at home 6 months later."

  • i had something like this done to me, when i was little but they used like a giant syringe

  • @grem700 Things have moved on since. If you enjoyed the video please press the LIKE button

  • anyone else get a boner?

  • Not only it does NOT hurt , but some people find it almost pleasant. If you found useful my video please press the LIKE button and forward it to friends, facebook sites etc

  • Did that hurt at all? I need to get it done

  • So, a water pick in your ear. Hmm, I always thought I was just supposed to use them on my teeth.

  • @drtyfknmouth Ha,ha,ha :-)) Good sense of humour. If you enjoyed my video please press the LIKE button

  • @drtyfknmouth Lol. I knew that was a water pik. Havent seen one in 13 years. I see they find interesting uses for it everyday!

  • its not hard to take a q-tip and clean your ears after you get a shower....

  • @p99glock i agree with you there i had ear wax removal and it felt awsome

  • okay, so, everyone has to do it once or just dirty people?

  • @rockisbetter Nothing to do with dirt.wax is a normal secretion of your ear. If it becomes excessive it blocks your ear and you cannot hear. if you enjoyed the video please press the LIKE button

  • @TravellerJ i have bad ear wax problems when i went to the doctor to get it removed the wax was black

  • @rockisbetter No, only dirty people's ears produce ear wax. What are you, 8 years old? Fucking dunce.

  • @rockisbetter also, a common thing that causes wax blocks is the use of Q-tips because you only take like half of the wax out (the wax that's on the surface) and you push the rest of the wax further inside of your ear blocking your ear canal with wax, so yeah, it's maybe something everyone must do.

  • I was cleaning my ear with a q-tip and accidentally pushes my ear wax up against my ear drum had to get this done yesterday

  • i thought water was bad for wax?

  • @nuttynicky390 Generally correct comment as it distends the wax. In this case however it was used to remove it. If you enjoyed the video please press the lIKE button

  • SHIT I NEED SOME THINK LIKE THAT RIGTH NOW I GOT MY PROBLEM WITH MI LEFT EAR AND I DONT HEAR NOTHING FROM THE LEFT EAR :(

  • Am i the only one that thinks that this wont be as satisfying because its not a massive lump bein pulled right out making it feel like heaven

  • @psp2s2 The big lump is on my other video (same patient , same day) with similar title (removing wax using a jet propulsing device)

  • @psp2s2 Gone from boils, cysts, and blackheads to Earwax!!! Ye-ha!!

  • I had this done plus tubs taken out just to get into the military now i have to go back for a small hole in my ear drum that might fail me for the military test >:-|

  • I had this done when I was younger. It really hurt me but I suppose everyone is different, it hurt so much that I had to re-book an appointment for the other ear.

  • @BattyLike Did your other ear hurt too?

  • A lot of doctors are shit scared of doing this these days and palm it off on the nurse or tell you to go to a specialist clinic. Our old family Doctor did it - he was this lovely old Scottish/Jewish dude and he'd do this with amazing results. I remember coming out of his sugary and waiting for a bus, and about 10 yards away from the bus stop was a piece of silver foil blowing down the street and I could hear the damn thing...it was bizarre.

  • My doctor used water and flushed out my ear. I had frosting stuck in my ear. Don't ask how. It happened when i was 8

  • Why the hell was this video recommended for me?!

  • How does the jet propulsion syringe work? Could the same effect be achieved with a shower head and a funnel?

  • that's fucking gross

  • I had this done once when I was little. And, wow! I could hear again! And it actually felt pretty nice. The water was warm.

  • @iloveapiano I thought getting water in your ear was bad for you

  • I had this done once when I was little. And, wow! I could hear again!

  • @iloveapiano Does it hurt???

  • @chocolatemilkyum Nope, at least not where I had it done.

  • i'm pretty sure that feel awsome

  • man it feels so good when you have that done, for some reason my right ear overproduces wax. it's very satisfying to see all the gunk that comes up

  • great all clean for that photo shot

  • i had that done don't do it

  • does it hurt cause i might have to get that done soon but im scared hah

  • @mcrloverforeva1 it does not hurt. I had it done because one morning i woke up and could not hear out of my left ear very well. obviously it is not the most comfortable procedure but it does most definitely not hurt. if you're nervous i would get what i got where it's one quick, but pressurized, blast of water into the ear. quick and painless. this version looks kind of annoying, personally.

  • @mcrloverforeva1 Ive had it and you dont feel any pain, you will be amazed at the wax removed and your hearing will be fully restored.....well worth having it done.

  • @mcrloverforeva1 I have to have it done 6 times a year because i was born with really curved ear canals , honestly it dosent hurt and the relief of being able to hear again properly is amazing

  • @Slater4BREE um you can go to the hospital to get this done rite? please reply

  • @smileyxoxo100 At a local Gp or doctors is where i have mine done , im not sure the hospital would do something as minor as this but phone up your local doctor most likely you will be prescribed ear drops to soften the wax and in 2 weeks if need be, you will have to have them syringed which does not hurt , i have had it done many times

  • @Slater4BREE Lucky you having this done each year.

  • NASTY

  • I LOOOOOOVE having this done. It feels great when the water rushes in and afterwards it always amazes me how well I can hear. I feel so refreshed and light!

  • please help me , i have an ear infection , since i was 10 years old i'm 15 now, and when i get a cold , my ears hurt like hell , and i went to a doctor , he said that my ear problem is related to the bone in my nose , and i have to be 18 to do a sugery to fix it , he gave me antibiotiques but their not working ,he also said that i shoulden't swim so water don't get in my ear , i wear ear plugs from the pharmacy ... i'm despret , i don't know what to do please help me .

  • sir, would irrigation solution's temp. matter? i just read with the med you have to warm it i think 98 F so i was wondering if its the same when irrigating.

  • water need to be tepid to be effective. Not cold as it does not dissolve the wax nor too warm as it is not bearable by teh patient. You test it normally with the tip of a finger. If you enjoyed my video email it to friends

  • @TravellerJ ..tnx for the respond.=)

  • I had something like this done when I was a kid. I remember seeing the gunk that had come out, and there was small dead moth that had been in my ear. :)

  • no it don't hurt i had this done to my ears last December

  • does this hurt? have to go get this done in a few days and want to know coz i am very scared :S

  • @Patrick50857 No, it actually feels really great.

  • New addition to the list of careers I'll never be able to do: Doctor.

  • I had a bug in my ear when I was about 13. Doc tried to pick it out, but it was stuck so he used the jet. At first I was scared, but as he continued, it felt REALLY GOOD!! I love the feeling of getting my ears clean, by water or other means.

  • is that an oradent hes sticking in her ear..

  • I've had that done and it gets the fluid in your inner ear spinning, producing motion sickness symptoms. I don't think its safe. There are other safer methods.

  • water piks are not approved for use in the ear for cerumen removal and are not safe.

  • I bet it hurts like hell. Actually I know it does cause we use that at my job and it can puncture and ear drum. I refuse to use it.

  • osofridas, DO NOT USE Q-TIPS. anyone. only in the outer part of the ear... don't go too far in there! no farther than you can stick your finger. i grew up using q-tips too far, had trouble hearing this winter, and had my ears flushed... a huge chunk of q-tip fibers came out of my right ear. and it HURT like a bitch. and it continued to hurt for days after.... Luckily my left one was fine, that flushing felt cool. :) but heed my warning, lol.

  • But i love Q-tips =[

  • Uhhh folks! It seems to be very similar to a water pic. Like almost exactly, not air. I'm betting it's warm tap water (which is apparently fine) being slightly propelled in a small stream with pulsation.

  • doesn't the air being rushed into your ear combined with the sound hurt your ear?

  • @amaznazn1nvazn No. I've had this done before, and I have to be honest, it feels really good. Ever had an itch in your ear, and you just can't reach it? This gets the job done, and it feels like such a relief once your ears have been cleaned. This is probably the best procedure you can have done to clear your ears out.

  • wow so old fashioned, is the doctor never watch youtube before ?

  • @JoGustaf Thats why I posted earlier that this clinic may be in a small Latin country.I'd love to know how much that Dr visit was?

  • I bet that feels relaxing

  • My patients can't stand this technique.

  • my bro's a doctor and he did it for me last week.. soooo much shit came out! it hurt, but i could hear heaps better after.

  • Interesting view. If Ears are an intimate part of one's body would you please name a part of the body that is NOT intimate?

  • No part of the body. Which is why you should wear gloves at all times as a standard procedure.

  • Common sense is what should guide a particular practice or mode of action. Don't you ever shake hands with strangers or get in contact with the skin of other humans? do you wear gloves? Should we "sterilise" any skin to skin contact? Perhaps even ban massage or physiotherapy without gloves? ZZchaz I am afraid you make unjustifiable comments ,trying to make a simple procedure "appear" more scientific, clinical or posh

  • I would consider medical procedures a matter of higher learning, not common knowledge. Shaking hands is hardly a clinical procedure, but this is. Here is why I believe a sterile (or at least clean) procedure would have been better:

One of the purposes of earwax is to prevent ear infections. To flush all traces of earwax from the ear canal leaves the patient vulnerable enough, but to do so while at the same time introducing the bacteria from ungloved hands is asking for trouble.

  • Let's start again:

    1) the only reason earwax is removed is when the ear canal is blocked and hearing is impaired.

    2) There is common sense application and doctrines. Common sense: touching your ear with a clean ungloved hand is not any different than YOU touching your ear with your hand from the MICROBIOLOGICAL point of view

Doctrine: for any "medical" act you should wear gloves

  • 1) I never claimed otherwise.

    2) I never claimed it was different. It is unclean no matter who does it. However, a medical professional is responsible for the patient he is treating, and as such should take at least basic safety precautions. Don't you think that doctrine is born out of common sense and reason? Common sense, in the medical field, is to protect the patient, as well as yourself. He could ensure this protection better by at least wearing gloves.

  • Over cleansing, anti-bacterial soaps, anti-biotics are all making us sicker...

  • No, only if used on young children. As an adult it's ok to do this as we have already built up an immunity. But children sometimes have to just be kids and get dirty - it's nature!

  • doc might wanna try wearing some latex gloves next time

  • Please inform of the disease that is transmissiblel by holding a patient's ear with naked hand

  • Well, you´re partially correct. Theoretically, if you have no cuts in your skin, no disease can be transmitted from the patient to you, even if you get... say, hepatitis B blood all over your hand, no cuts = no disease. BUT, it´s almost a standard protocol to wear some latex gloves when doing a procedure. It´s more comfortable for the patient not to feel some stranger´s skin on a more intimate part of their body (in this case, the ear). It gives the whole procedure a more clean look.

  • Thats why I feel this clinic is outside of the USA.

  • why? because medicine in the USA is so perfect, as opposed to everywhere else in the world?

I´m a brazilian doctor, by the way.

  • Excellent. There are a few Drs in my family.I 'm so used to seeing Drs at a new spanky expensive clinic than an old one.Of course we pay thru our nose for health care.

  • feels good man

  • looks like it feels good.
