I love this piece, I listen to The Planets while doing homework because it helps me focus and keeps me calm and thinking straight. One of the best pieces of all times.

Mercury, the planet with almost no atmosphere, no moons, gray, and a tilt of two degrees sounds very lively.

@WolfLikesLeeksInc it does, doesn´t it? this is because "the planets" was not meant to decribe the planets per se, but the astrological & mythological attributes of the Roman Gods after which the planets were named. Mercury was a messenger who was always flying around, informing the people about the decisions made by the Gods, or warning them if they were in danger. Mercury was the prototype for an angel.

This image refers to the version for 2 pianos (arranged by Holst himself), whereas the recording that we hear on this video is the original version for large orchestra. Though it's a good performe. I put it in my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
