Hiphop dance is B-boyin ("break-dancing") it's not an opinion its a fact......dont believe wat u see on so you think u can dance lol. This is "personalized choreography" - someone has made the steps up. Hiphop dance is a like a culture......theres a history to it - theres names for all the moves - theres specific music .....hiphop or breakbeats. Don't call ya self a hiphop dancer if u dont break.
@19daze98 no lol you re wrong ! bboying was the first hip hop dance dance WITH popping wich is an other style on hip hop, and now there is a lot of other style like locking, hip hop new style, krump, house....
@stronger715 No need to put "LOL" dude because infact u are wrong. THE ONLY thing those dances have in common what u mentioned is the fact they all street dances! ok ....not every dance comes under the term "HIPHOP"....I've been B-boyin since 97 and this is what I know....ok there are only TWO real hiphop dances - the first you are right was b-boyin and the second is what's called "party style" dance (buddah stretch) or "New style" (french term) short for new york style.
@stronger715 HOw long u been dancing? anyways ....B-boyin and party style was invented in the bronx with the other elements that make up hiphop as a culture....mate Popping and LOckin came from L.A - they are known as funk style dances - they have there own music which is electro music and funk...I know that Poppin and lockin are like the cousins of hiphop but are not infact HipHop. "Crumping" dude .....whats that got to do with hiphop? ...just coz black ppl invented it? no no no lol.
@19daze98 because krump is tottaly inspired by hip hop !!!! bboying, rapping, graffiti, djing, i know what is hip hop. This " cousin" of hip hop ? so why hip hop new style is called HIP HOP new style ? because all the cousin of bboying are now hip hop. I DANCE since 2008 so yes you know more than me, but why the first bboy used some popping moves ?
@stronger715 Why is Krumpin inspired by hiphop? ....it looks nothin like B-boyin or party style. and It's called "new style" because it's short for "NEW YORK style". I know some bboys do poppin also and if you look at old battles - they used to BATTLE together...it doesnt mean there BOTH hiphop. The term "cousins" of hiphop comes from the fact they was the first street dances but from different places.
@19daze98 ok ! i dindn t know , but as you said there is TWO real hip hop dance so your first comment wasn t right... but all these dances are close, you can see new stylers using popping, krumping, and bboying moves. anyways that s DANCE haha ;)
and i m french so sorry for my english, if you don t understand SOMETHING...
@stronger715 Yea i was talkin about the original dance of hiphop - "b-boyin"....I only just found out about "party style" which is also considered HipHop because theres a vid of "mr wiggles" sayin so in an interview on the net. So yes my first comment was wrong! but not every single street dance comes under "hipHop" that I know....it's due to media thats happend and why people get confused.
@MrFrankyGification B-boyin ('hiphop dance") is Bboys top-rock and then do footwork and then end in a freeze was how it 1st originated as b-boying (the dance element of hiphop) dance to the "break" and acrobatic moves came later from martial arts / gymnastics etc. It started with just upright steps your right including "up-rockin" also tap and the good foot etc...but there not hiphop dance by themselves. "Brooklyn up-rock" is a dance all on it's own & isn't really essential in bboyin.
Omg y'all couldn't be more irritating lol. I never said Uprocking was a part of bboying at all. I said it was the first dance to be birthed from HipHop and the first REAL Fight dance inside it too.
Bboying sprouted from the Brooklyn Uprock. I know guys who originated and tell me this shit so no I aint pulling it out of my ass.
@MrFrankyGification lol...noob. Up-rockin was around before "HIPHOP" so it wasn't birthed from it and you said "up-rocking" was the first hiphop dance in your first comment which isn't actually true because B-boying was the first hiphop dance (said by mr wiggles) but in yr second comment u corrected yrself and said it sprouted from "up-rockin" which is what I said in my first comment! also Up rocking is part of b-boyin but you don't have to do it.
@19daze98 Uprock ain't part of bboying, it came before. People use it when they break yea, but it's not of bboying. Bboyng has Toprock, Downrock, Footwork, Freezes, Suicides, and Powermoves.
@MrFrankyGification I know it came before as I said....it came from the 60's and breakers do it in breakin so it is part of breakin just not essential like power or flips aren't essential either. When did u start Breakin'/B-boyin? U do tricking too?
@19daze98 I'm not saying people dont do it breaking bo', I'm just saying that whenever I hear og's talk about it they always say it's separate from bboying. As in they will have Uprock only battles sometimes, and yea it's used in a bboy battle but very briefly.
I started bboying 2 years ago, all my videos are at least 5 months old though. And I hardly ever trick anymore. I'm even switching the sides I trick on so no new vids of that for a while.
@stronger715 now other street dances are being invented like krumpin but doesn't mean they are Hiphop too....if u can show me a vid of Krumpin sayin this is a hiphop dance or even better an original B-boy like crazy legs sayin "yes krumpin is a hiphop dance" - I'll believe u dude! lol...but There are vids on the net of the creators of hiphop sayin whats hiphop......i can give u links if u like?
this was definatly one of the better hip-hop vs. ballet recitals most of thm ive seen so far hav good intent but thy not in sync at all so pretty good :)
This is like my pick me up video. whenever i'm feeling down somehow this video cheers me up. Its my viewing guilt pleasure. i take my hat of to the dancers. they are really good.

Hopefully you understand where I am coming from. I took some contemporary, by far some of the hardest stuff I've ever tried, but same in Bboying too. Both are great, and I wish I could be good at both lol, but I'm a bboy. Nice vid tho.
@MrFrankyGification yeah but it s the thing in hip hop, bboying in not harder than popping or hiphop new style its just different, for me it was as hard to learn to do a flare than learn to do the wave haha it s just depend on what you do
@fusina89isa What the hell?! Are you drunken or something? Ok it's right that the hip hop in this video isn't as good as it could be but have you ever seen a bboy pro or something? Damn I am sure you are never able to do things like them! HIP HOP RULES!
