The gorgonopsed is a pre-Permian extinction reptile. It is a REPTILE not a dinosaur. Dinosaurs are a past permian extinction reptile. It is also a mammal-like reptile. @MakeMeHate1 It's a tv series. There are 5 seasons (possibly might be more) however I would say the first two season are much better than the later ones (although the later ones are still quite good) all five seasons are available on DVD.

I don't know about that part.... by definition "reptile" is a paraphyletic grouping and thus not natural. So "reptile" is hard to define, technically mammals and birds could be considered reptiles if reptilia includes both diapsida and synapsida (both had warm-blooded and cold-blooded members).

But if you define 'reptile' in the synapsid sense as something like Dimetrodon - sprawling, cold-blooded, most likely scaly, and squat-legged, then Gorgons are more mammalian.
