I will be the first to admit that Americans have some bad financial habits (I never believed in the stability of an economy built on debt), but no one wants to be homeless. I believe that Basic Finance 101 should be taught at every level of primary education. Secondly, greedy bankers should never have allowed people with questionable credit anywhere near a bank. Lastly, most economist will tell you that is was DEREGULATION which caused this crisis, which America has exported across the globe.
