I saw pts 1 and 2. Great and detailed review of the features and functions that I have not been able to find anywhere. My wife had the Dare for only a few days and exchanged it for another phone because she felt the touch lacked sensitivity. Based on my research, the Dare appears to be highly recommended and I am willing to give it a chance when I'm due next month for a new phone. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

The touch screen takes a bit to get used to, but I think that goes for all touch-screen-phones. In addition there is a calibration screen which helps in making it better for you. After a few months of use, I use my fingers for most all functions except web-browsing, where I use a stylus. Thanks for the feedback

this is a great review of the dare!! i was unsure whether or not i wanted to buy the dare, but i now i really want it. other videos were comparing it to other phones and werent really talking about the dare much, but this informative video was very helpful.

Yes, there is a lock button (top left), also, the phone can be set to lock itself after a period of inactivity.

I purchased a stylus separately becasue it makes it easier browsing the internet that way, however, for dialing and all other functions, the fingertips do just fine.

I am not sure, but I installed a Display Protector as soon as I bought it, specifically made for the DARE (sold by Verizon) and it has worked very well. Thanks for the feedback.

Music reminds me kind of that used with This Old House, and I think you very much for covering specific features. Your review is the ONLY one I've seen show certain in-call features. I also have the same multi-stylus you are using, too.

I see there's no way to enter street addresses in the "address book". How about using the notepad for that? Can you sort the notepads alphabetically?

You are right, there is no street addresses input. The notepad unfortunately has no sort feature, nor does it have a way to associate it with the telephone directory.

Overall, I am REALLY happy with the phone.
